"Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye." Matthew 7:1-5

The lord is our judge, not man.

@Viper Now that is the truth
Carazaa · F
@Viper Thank you for that verse! Exactly!
Carazaa · F
@SW-User 💞 And the truth shall set you free!
SW-User
@Carazaa Tell this truth to women and men that are beat within an inch of their lives, like I was, from a spouse. What does your God do for people in that position? Answer: Nothing.
Viper · M
@Carazaa You're welcome hypocrite.
JohnnyNoir · 56-60, M
@SW-User well I’m sure this is where a True Believer would say that it’s the task of the woman to be submissive and obedient.
SW-User
@JohnnyNoir Perhaps. And I was. He beat me, because another man looked at me. All I cared about was getting my son out of harm's way.
JohnnyNoir · 56-60, M
@SW-User and I don’t blame you at all. Still, that wouldn’t stop some from saying you were violating god’s laws
SW-User
@JohnnyNoir They can and will, and have..I just ignore them, because they need to take a loooong hard look at themselves first, and they probably haven't.
JohnnyNoir · 56-60, M
@SW-User exactly! Therein lies the hypocrisy of organized religion to me and why I no longer practice it
SW-User
@JohnnyNoir Same. I refuse to.
Carazaa · F
@SW-User @JohnnyNoir sorry I had work all day, I encourage you or anyone who is abused to separate. I’m just here to encourage people to turn to God and I’m giving hope in Jesus! He says “come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest”
Carazaa · F
@Viper Why do you think I’m hypocritical? I do what I preach!
Viper · M
@Carazaa Because clearly you are sinning (just like the rest of us) and yet you invoke the lord's name to do it your way, or God won't answer your prays (I was surprised you said that and no one should ever say that, you do not know what our Lord will or won't do, as our Lord has often surprised people).

I understand your trying to spread the lord's good word, but you are picking and choosing which sections to emphasize, and which sections to give exception to... that is not the complete and whole word of the Lord.

We share answer to the Lord ourself, for the lord's word... not your version of the lord's word.

Spreading the lord's word is good, but casting judgement is not our place.

We will be forgiven as we have forgiven others, that's in the lord's prayer, so holding people tightly to this point or that point and Lord shall hold us tightly to this point or that point.

We are supposed to forgive sins, not hold them against people.

And you called Pastors evil, so clearly you're passing judgement.

Which FYI, divorced of the Lord's union is not allowed, not all marriages are the Lord's union, especially when one of them turns out to treat the other person like complete shit, beating the crap out of them. I'm not sure I'd call that a Lord's union, and therefore their maybe exceptions that we can't comprehend yet.

And yet your pride (another sin) suggest you do know and understand it all, and therefore you have the right to tell others what is and isn't wrong (just like those "evil pastors" you talked about).

We are all sinful, and we should look towards our own sins, and not judge others for theirs.
Carazaa · F
@Viper I am not sinning!
Viper · M
@Carazaa That's exactly what a sinner would say.

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
Romans 6:23
Carazaa · F
@Viper I didn’t say that I’m not a sinner but I’m not actively sinning daily and I have repented and Jesus forgave my sins and has given me discernment to live a Godly life! I am here because I want people to be blessed in their lives too.
