You don’t have to believe anything we say. And you don’t trust our sources anyway!

It's a bit more complex than that, so no, that implication not only isn't probably true (and we'd both agree with it), but definitely not the only option either.

The first forms of life were potentially several order of magnitude simpler than the lifeforms you can see around now. Perhaps not even involving genetics altogether.
Carazaa · F
@Elessar You have no answer except the obvious one that there had to be a creator!
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Carazaa Except it is neither obvious, nor anywhere more likely than the example I gave.
Carazaa · F
@Elessar ok well thanks for trying and for responding to my post 🙂💞
Well its only two things, accidental or deliberate, we can narrow that down, lol.
Maybe it doesn't even matter, all of that stuff is out of human comprehension anyway.
Metapsychics isn't common sense to a living organism and we have only known about this stuff for a short time really... Maybe, somehow its both deliberate and accidental, conscious and unconscious,, meaning and no meaning 🤷‍♀️

@MushroomFaerie I'm speaking at high level here - from the ideas of physicists, not my imagination. There are things that aren't explainable at this point through our science -
1. MATHEMATICS: was not created by the beginnings of the universe, which developed within mathematical laws. Mathematics was discovered, not invented in the broader sense (our maths is a description of what is). It appears to be universally true. And the universe only uses a very small portion of possible mathematics.
2. CONSCIOUSNESS: We're struggling to understand it within science. Sir Roger Penrose, for instance says it's 'Whatever consciousness is, it's not a computation, not a physical process.'

I find it odd that some people define humans according to physical size or length of life. On that scale we are insignificant.

But change the scale to complexity. The human mind is the most complex known structure in the universe. On that scale, a non-conscious supernova, with no awareness or ability to choose, is just stuff bouncing around like part of an endless pinball machine from the beginning of the universe. Today I can decide to type this sentence or go outside instead.
Carazaa · F
@MushroomFaerie I would agree with that!
Carazaa · F
@Abstraction Math was discovered not invented? Interesting! The universe was orderly and mathematical, before humans existed right? How then did it get organized?
We are insignificant and small in this universe, Most things are out of our control yet I believe there is an escape route but only if we open the door when God knocks! Then we can start walking on the straight and narrow that leads to life eternal!

What’s dead matter? Did you know that only about 30% of the universe is made of matter? The rest we call dark matter.
Carazaa · F
@SW-User
Why?
-Maybe it’s not just about us but spiritual beings in heavenly places?
-Maybe to show us his power and majesty, beauty, and Glory because he can to little doubtful skeptics who mock him?

@Carazaa you mean aliens? Because anything else besides us in the universe would be considered an alien life form. Why didn’t he just show himself on earth instead of creating a universe otherwise? People have been living and dying without ever seeing his creation symbolizing his power. Telescopes are recent inventions. The people in the past weren’t worthy?
Carazaa · F
@SW-User Jesus God Almighty visited us and he created the world! Every morning we witness his beauty in the sunrise!

Odin and his brother slew a huge frost giant and used the dismembered corpse to make the heaven and earth. Then turned two dead trees into people..
He’s really in to recycling.
Abiogenesis managed without a god.
