I love Jesus! He is the Son of the Living God, who suffered and died for the sins of the world. His father, God, rose him from the dead after three days, and He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead.

People have been saying that for the last 2000 years. I'll believe it when I see it, not before.
@Sharon He spoke of you also. It is mercy that adds to the passing days.

When and where? Presuming he even existed, which is becoming more doubtful, it would have been well before I was born so he couldn't have known anything about me.
@Sharon
3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

@puck61 So? I don't see my name there at all. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy anyway as christians got out of their way to make themselves a laughing stock (see some of their post here) thus guaranteeing others will laugh at them.
@Sharon Great! Laughter is good for the body and the mind. I love it when I can make people laugh. It's not like I am being forced to swallow a scalding strand of cloth with sharp metal shards to eventually be pulled out slowly so that the metal shards tear my intestines , bronchi, and esophagus as they are slowly pulled back out. It's not like I am being tied to the horns of a raging bull, or being slowly roasted in an ornate oven that makes my screams sound like music. It's not like I have to kiss the stake upon which I will slowly burn to death. It's not like I am being slowly impaled from my anus to the center of my throat. It's not like these and hundreds of other slow and painful deaths await me, as they did for thousands of others who joyfully surrendered to these undignified deaths for an alleged mythological character.
@Sharon I don't know about you, but I can almost smell the smoke from that fire. If you could see how accurate the prophecies have been thus far, I am sure it would give you pause. There is absolutely no way a mortal man could be right on so many occasions about so many things down to such detail.

@puck61 What evidence is there that christians were were killed like that? It sounds much more like the type of things that christians did to non-christians - after calling them "witches".

What fire?
If you could see how accurate the prophecies have been thus far, I am sure it would give you pause.
All these so-called prophecies are vague, couched in metaphor, and not limited by time. I could make a few hundred similar prophecies, vague, metaphorical and open ended. Sooner or later events could be matched to some of the prophecies, thus proving my divinity. Until such time of course, my prophecies would simply be "yet to be fulfilled".

As I've just shown, that's not correct.
@Sharon That is so hilarious. I won't go on an anti Papacy tirade, but you just can't put the "Christian" label on every yahoo that uses His Name. "By their fruits ye shall know them....." I wish I cared for your eternal fate more than I do, but I am not here to preach. I think it's even against the TOS. I know you're a smart person though, and it has been really nice talking to you.
@Sharon About as much likelihood for a tornado to rip through a junkyard and accidentally create a 65 Coupe Deville.

If a person claims to be a christian, that's good enough. I don't try to dictate what others identify as like, for example, telling Atheists their not really Atheists.

It's been nice talking to you too. 👍️

Compared to what? I don't know what you're referring to.
@Sharon Christianity has had 100,000 denominations since Mark 16. I have yet to see one live up to Mark 16! That;s not what it's all about............disclaimer number one,,,,,, People suck.
@Sharon Just the probability of the accuracy of prophetic scripture, 5,000 years plus in question.......There is nothing vague about any of them,

@puck61
Just the probability of the accuracy of prophetic scripture, 5,000 years plus in question.....
That's something else that's commonly misunderstood. As I said, sooner or later some event can be match to some prophecy. The longer it takes just increases the chance of a random event matching a prophecy. A long period of time devalues the prophecy.
There is nothing vague about any of them,
In that case, it should be a trivial exercise for you find one that's clear and was fulfilled exactly (within a day or two) when it was predicted to.
@Sharon "You fool! This day shall thy soul be required of thee."

@puck61 Where was that prediction made and what evidence is there that it came true? Saying something will happen "this day" (today) is not much of a prediction though.

I predict it will rain today.
