It did not happen before the apostles died because many like myself weren’t born yet! Nor had it reached China or even scandinavia! 🙂

@Carazaa You are not a nation, you are a person. The apostles’ "job" was to preach the gospel to all nations… and they did (see the book of Acts). Since then, people have been preaching the gospel to people in every nation in each generation. In fact, right now there are Christians in virtually every nation on earth. If one were to say people are nations then the end could never come as there are always people being born. Meaning there will always be someone who has never heard the gospel.

The baby being born today might be the last to be saved! We don’t know! When every nation or ethnic group has heard and all people that God chose from the foundation of the world to be saved are saved he will come back! There are hundreds of ethnic groups in every country! God is STILL saving every day! Many ethnic groups were not even here when the apostles were alive! The Jews had not been scattered and brought back so obviously he is still saving people especially the Jews, God has perfect timing!

@shuhak All the nations include native populations of places like the amazon and the south pacific islanders.. So no the apostles went out into the world only to start the process of preaching to all nations.. That mission will be completed when all nations have been contacted by messengers and all peoples will have heard the message of Jesus..
