@Carazaa I started reading the bible on my own. Read a lot of contradictory crap. Some stuff that was pro slavery and anti-woman. I began to realize this book was really written by men, a long time ago and reflected their inherent biases.

God took the Jews who were slaves OUT of slavery and helped them! And God tells us to love everyone so you either haven’t read the Bible or you totally misunderstood the passages you read! Jesus came to free us from slavery! A proverbs woman in the Bible works, buys real estate and has servants!

Ephesians 6:5-8 Paul states, “Slaves, be obedient to your human masters with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ” which is Paul instructing slaves to obey their master. @Carazaa

Look, I am not here to argue with you. You asked a question, I answered it. You want to start an argument, please bother someone else as I am not in the mood. I tired top believe in god and his so called book. the more I read it the more I realized it was bullshit. Another thing, I don't think humanity is worthy of eternal life.

Having said that, believe whatever you want. I don't care.

God has slavery in the Bible to show how he helps the Jews out of slavery and to be obedient because GOD will help us when we have it hard! You don’t realize that God will help us because we can’t reach him because of our sin! He loves you!

@Adstar Seriously, you think that is better wording? It's the same thing worded differently. it tells slaves to obey their masters. Sounds like someone who would definitely support the confederacy.
