Just brain waves running amok or legit glimpses of an alternate reality? Any of you had one? Would love to hear it...

Very unreliable reports.

@Nika2002 So like ... Everyone who reported an NDE is unreliable? (That's a pretty substantial number of people.) The reports themselves are unreliable? What criteria would be reliable in your view?
Nika2002 · 22-25, F
@brokensignal It's the power of suggestion. People are told what to expect when they die. And lots of believing people don't even have the prescribed NDE. It's random, like the answering of prayers.

@Nika2002 So you're saying the events themselves are somehow the subconscious mind producing effects that are influenced by a person's beliefs? Definitely see some randomness happening in the NDE reports ...I agree. And that's a really interesting point. Although there are a lot of consistent themes and experiences. I listen to a podcast about it, and a LOT (like overwhelmingly large amount) of people have a highly loving encounter that is very much based on examining how they made people feel in their lives .. Lot of consistency in having that life review experience and being told that the way they treat people (often the little things) are the things that matter most ... They're shown moments where they may have hurt someone and didn't even realize it. Or made someone really happy and didn't know it. Your specific religion or dogma isn't as important. Or doesn't seem to be anyway...
