What do you make of near death experiences? [Spirituality & Religion]
Just brain waves running amok or legit glimpses of an alternate reality? Any of you had one? Would love to hear it...

Until I know, I don't make up my mind either way. I keep in mind that they could be like dreams and chemicals your brain floods you with. I still don't think it's for me to say though.
I have a pre-birth experience, like not necessarily being born but right before I was born. Ironically, I have some similarities with NDE's only without all the heaven and hell part, I don't think I had any concept of it. More like a formless shape that's terrified because something was pulling me down into what I now know was my mother's womb. I remember trying to go somewhere else but being pulled down regardless.
Still to this day, I want to remember where I was going lol, whatever it was, must have been important.
Though there is this, I don't remember the link but it was on a science channel saying how scientists were saying that our brains are like little universes or something to that extent. I wish I could remember the wording.

@SatanBurger That experience you described is really interesting and kinda mind blowing actually. That makes me think about reincarnation or something like it... Was hearing a friend talk recently about how life/existence is a karmic prison in some way. We have to keep reliving the experience of living here until we somehow get our soul in the right state. Anyway thanks for the awesome response!
