To Skeptics Who Believe In Evolution: Where Will Your So Called ‘Science’ Be Then? [Spirituality & Religion]

There will come a Day of Judgment when Yahweh will judge the world. The world will not judge Him with its unrighteous judgment on that Day, but God, the Righteous Judge, will judge the world for its unrighteousness. So I ask, where will your so called ‘science’ be then? I'm not talking about science itself, just your misunderstanding of it. Where will your unbelief go when you're faced the truth that Yahweh lives? Where will your haughtiness be then? Where will your intellect be? What will you say to God that will convince Him to let you into His kingdom? Without the Spirit of Christ in you, you can’t enter the Kingdom of God.

I love the intent here but it's not likely to really get anyone's attention except for maybe trolls.

@Emosaur What does that have to do with what I actually said? I was replying directly to the author of this post and I didn't even comment on science

@Emosaur Maybe I was more referring to his intent to get people to believe in God?

So not really. They admit they aren't anti science, they simply believe that the Darwin type evolution view is a misunderstanding of science.

@Emosaur But is that still his indented theme? No, according to his very wording it's not. You should stop putting words in other people's mouths like "science bad, God good."

@Emosaur It's also rude to call someone's belief's ridiculous. I thought this was a tolerant world...

The OP is a troll or, at the very least, does a very good impression of one.

Not if christians post here get their way. They're possibly the least tolerant people going.

@Sharon I suppose you may have a point. We don't want to tolerate that which is truly harmful. We want to love all people but not condone lifestyles and choices that are not healthy. From that perspective, of wanting to help everyone life the best life they can here and in the next life, then yeah I guess we're not tolerant. That doesn't equate to shunning anyone no matter who they are. Jesus didn't shun them and we shouldn't either. He also said "go your way and sin no more."

The christians I've encountered aren't concerned with whether something is actually harmful, they're intolerant of anything that doesn't concur with their beliefs.

Rubbish. They just want to interfere with people's enjoyment of life.

That's not the intent of those truly living a Christ like life. Being human, we often get it wrong or are misunderstood but I know many that are like what I described.

In that case, stop interfering and leave people to live their lives as they wish. You wouldn't like it if members of another religion tried telling you to dump your god and dictated how you should live your life.

@Sharon I would if it were a matter of life and death. In the eternal sense it is. If Jesus and the Bible are real, then so are Heaven and Hell. It's far more loving to tell someone the hard truth than to let them be comfortable and possibly end up suffering for all of eternity. The thing is our works won't get us to Heaven. We are born sinful and deserving of Hell the very instant we can consciously choose right from wrong (because we usually choose wrong and openly reject God on some level). Only His grace will allow us into Heaven, His gift of forgiveness.

Having said that, good works/living a Biblically righteous life are a) a sigh of our love for Him and b) once again guidelines for the best and most fulfilling life possible. For one thing, a sinful lifestyle won't lose our salvation but it will hurt our relationship with our Heavenly Father. This is a negative result on many levels. Also things like free love and jealously and other sins all along the spectrum carry natural consequences that He wants to shield us from.

I hope I'm making sense.

What if they're not and the true god is Odin? How are you going to explain yourself to Him?
We are born sinful and deserving of Hell the very instant we can consciously choose right from wrong
That is just the type of arrogant claim I've come to expect from christians. The fact is, it is no more than your opinion but, like most christians, you arrogantly present it as proven fact.

You're entitled to believe whatever you like but don't forget the rest of us also have that right. I doubt anyone would have a problem with christians if they just went quietly about their business and stopped sticking their noses in where they're not wanted.

I've seen far more evidence for Jesus being real so I'm sticking with that. If He is real then everything else I've said is.

Anyway, that's probably enough for now as we're unlikely to convince each other. Have a good day

I've seen more evidence orf Santa Claus being real than I have of Jesus. The only Jesu I know is a waiter in the local Mexican restaurant.

If not, but Odin is, you could be in real trouble.

You too.
