Reading through the OP again, you can understand why so many people are rejecting religion. "Believe in God or go to hell". That is the jist of the post. Religion is just another word for mind control. That's why so many Christians get so angry when meeting atheists or agnostics. "Do not judge your God because your God will judge you". In other words, don't question, don't think, just obey like a zombie.

That's good that they reject religion. I hate to see them turn to religion instead of the one true God.

@SpiritualMan “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

@SpiritualMan faith without works is dead
Man cannot be saved by works, but if he has faith, there will be works

@jackieash dear, "free will" is not mentioned in the Bible
While we can decide what we do, there are consequences
God has also been seen to harden the hearts of some, and soften the hearts of others, such as when he hardened the heart of Pharoah such that even after many plagues he still refused to let God's people go, and even had his men pursue God's people into a separated sea and having the sea crash down on them

That's not what we get angry about. Atheists are dead in the ground, skeptics are dead above ground and walking around. We get angry at the way skeptics and agnostics making fools of themselves whenever they make fun of us and the one true God, Yahweh.

If Yahweh wanted zombies, He would of created them in the beginning. He wanted free thinking human beings so they can love Him of their own free will. You're right though, we can't judge God because man never created Him but He is the righteous judge who created mankind and will judge them accordingly. We, who are His children, He will judge first. Those who hate Him and are His enemies, He will judge last. Please, read on. You miss the whole point of God's good gift of salvation. We are created in God's image and likeness but we gave that image when man wanted to be his own god which caused all this mess that he made for himself. God so loved mankind, including you, that gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes on Him has eternal life and will never perish. Anyone who receives the gift of salvation, Jesus will work on to give them back their life in Him who created them. Take Care.

@jackieash
atheists or agnostics
If some posts on SW are any guide, many hard-line would-be evangelists do not recognise "agnostics".
Showing only bitterness and fear of being questioned or of questioning themselves, the worst-afflicted of them divide the world rigidly into Them and Us: "Atheists" and "Christians". Them with evil Satan, Us with heartless God. Christianity only on their own, largely pre- or even un- Christian, terms, too.
I wonder from their deeply-sectarian refusal to recognise, understand and tolerate agnosticism and even other religions, what they make of inter-faith dialogue and services, possibly even simple ecumenism within Christianity itself. Anathema?
