Yes. If Hitler he’d been “saved” one second before he died, he’d have gone to heaven, while the millions of people he killed who weren’t saved are in hell . What a demented philosophy.

Although, some theologians like Rob Bell believe in post-mortem salvation.

@LeopoldBloom hmmm, a narscissist doesn’t repent!
@Carazaa I'm saying hypothetically, there's no theological reason why Hitler couldn't have been saved at the last second. At least the Catholics would say that he would have to spend a few eons in Purgatory first.

@SpiritualMan So Hitler would be in a shittier heaven than, say, Corrie Ten Boom?

How do you know "some" people are given the opportunity for salvation after death? Why not everyone? Does God decide who he gives a second chance to?

Also, the Bible can be interpreted in different ways, otherwise, there wouldn't be thousands of different Christian denominations.

@SpiritualMan What a load of happy horsecrap. Thank you, but I'll wait until God decides to explain it to me himself, instead of sending one of his self-important, sanctimonious spokesmen.

@LeopoldBloom Hypothetically if Hitler repented and God forgave him before he died Jesus was tortured in equal and worse measure for that too and all the humans that were ever wronged including all the Jews and all the Christians killed because of persecution! And he would enter heaven! Jesus talked about how grave our sin is regardless how good you think you are! He told the parable of the vineyard! A hired servant was paid the same wages working a day as one working a year! We are a family of God!

@SpiritualMan read the doctrine. The 'bible' makes the criteria so that no one could make it. So basically the 'church' changed their tune. If no one can be saved it hurts the donation plate.
