@GodSpeed63 I know you hate it when i bring reality into these discussions ,but oh well .One of the people that abused me said he was god ,and he held the power over life and death in his hands ,he controlled my every thought action and emotion.He insisted that i kneel at his feet and worship him and serve him above any other ,he insisted that i read the bible daily .Does any of this sound familier? To me there was more evidence that the abuser was god because he was right there in front of me and could do everything he said he could .Not withstanding the fact he was a catholic priest.

@kodiac i know that to be awful.i had a pastor insist on a hug and then run his hands all over my body. i know how it jacked me up and i was in my 30's. as a kid that had to be indescribable.

It's not about religion, never has been or ever will be about religion. It's all about a close relationship with God, our Father, through Jesus Christ by His Holy Spirit.

2.do you know Agness Moorehead? she was an actress. you know she existed. you've probably seen her in a bit part. Google her. you know of her but you don't know her. you wouldn't walk in her house, plop down on her sofa and ask her for something. she would probably have you arrested. same with God he knows of you but you have never gotten to know him on a personal level.

3.even life teaches you that you reap what you sow.

@Emosaur 1. i have only one guess and it is a guess only. perhaps they're not as precise with their language as you would prefer. you are actively searching for things that you can use against God. i would say he's omnibenevolent to those who have a relationship with him. He has given me ao much. like i said before it is there for you but you have reach out for it.

2.He doesn't know you. you won't let him. there is no relationship between you. like a person passing you on a busy sidewalk. you know they are there but you are not friends. you don't know them. God wants a one on one personal intimate friendship with you. he wants to "know"' you. but He doesn't because you won't let him. the word know has many meanings and degrees of closeness. i know people but i don't know them personally so i would not say i know them. to be exact i could say I know of them but we have never had any personal interaction.

you are very difficult to communicate with. i can't let my guard down one second because you appear as a wolf ready to pounce. i must choose my words very carefully. you are exhausting to interact with. i can't be casual with you. there is no friendship. you are like an examiner grading my replies. it is mentally challenging which is nice but you are a taker. you give nothing of yourself but you greedily take from me everything, parse it, and hungrily chew up anything you can and spit it back to me. sometimes i want to yell "give it a break, enough." but i can't because you are judging God through me. Holy Spirit give me strength,
