How will you celebrate Walpurgisnacht this year? [Spirituality & Religion]

Wasn't that some kind of witches brew made from tomatoes it something similar? It's been decades since I've heard the term

@Grateful4you I don't know anything about it being named after an alcoholic drink but it's supposed to be a get together that is older than Christianity. There are more than one ways of celebrating it (depending on the person), and honestly it is a bit difficult for me to explain (it's like explaining Halloween).
@BlackBloodDemon Most all of our traditional holidays have roots in pagan celebrations. They are all older than Christianity.

Is that a feast revolving around Christians burning witches or did I get something mixed? If yes, I'm outta here. 👀
BlackBloodDemon · 22-25, M
@CrazyMusicLover there are no burning witches. It's just a more exciting halloween.

Why do all german holidays and occasions sound angry
BlackBloodDemon · 22-25, M
@Ryannnnnn You might be pronouncing it wrong. I don't think it sounds angry at all.
Quizzical · 46-50, M
We don't usually in the UK
BlackBloodDemon · 22-25, M
@Quizzical Yea, I know, but I have come across a few UK people partaking in it. (:
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
Same as every year before. I don't celebrate it.
Wa-who?

What is this?
BlackBloodDemon · 22-25, M
@HijabaDabbaDoo In a nutshell, it's a more spooky Halloween.
