Question for Christians but anyone can answer. [Spirituality & Religion]

I have a question for anyone but primarily for Christians.

(I asked three people this question and two answered. The third one keeps ignoring it and only he knows why. A couple of users said he likes me asking it cause he has a crush on me but meh I don’t know. Maybe.)

Do you read and follow every word of the Bible?

I believe every word in the Bible is the inspired Word of God..

Do i successfully do all that is given to me to do in the Bible .. NO..

That's why God provided the atonement of the LORD Jesus Christ.. So as to pay the price our failing to live up to the standards put forward in the Bible.. So that those who believe God and trust in god will be Deemed righteous by Faith not deemed righteous by works ( actions deeds and performance in doing the will of God)

Salvation can only ever be a gift that humans can receive from God.. it cannot be earned because it requires perfection in all things.. And any honest human being knows.. No one is perfect but God..

@wilderflower No you cannot follow every word in the Bible.. There is a division in the Bible between the Old Testament and the New testament.. So Christians have the teachings of Jesus as their current teachings.. So we do not sacrafice lambs on altars or stone adulterers.. But the sacrifice of our LORD Jesus is to be believed and trusted in.. And Adultery is still a sin worthy of death.. But we leave that judgement to God on the day of judgement..

PS Oh i did not see the other replies while i was replying to your's jade. The next responder mentions stoning of Adulterers..lol Very nasty responder too..

@Adstar According to the Bible, a woman who marries and is not a virgin should be taken outside the gates of the city and stoned to death. That makes a hymen worth a life.

@quitwhendone Yes quitwhendone.. those who engage in pre-marital sex and worthy to face the death penalty.. But of course we do not execute them since the time of Jesus because we follow his will not to carry out judgements upon sinners..
