God tells us to challenge him with tithing in the book of Malachi. God tells us there he will pour down a blessing so our barns are full!

i dont have a barn ..
i'll never give my money to organized institutions which are known to have corrupt elements ..

I much rather do what i do .. give directly to the needy.

@SW-User I also give directly. Our local Mission and Food Pantry both give directly to poor people to provide badly needed food, clothing a warm bed to sleep when it's cold and let's not forget Hope. When I buy from Amazon Smile a portion of the amount is donated directly to our local Mission and Food Pantry as well.
