@Carazaa No, the version of the bible before the KJV. It is fundamentally different than the KJV in at least one specific arena of human life that is still practiced today.

That means that before the KJV, there was a certain thing that couldn't be done. After the KJV, it could be done.

How are those two versions exactly the same, then?

King James wanted to get a divorce. It was forbidden by the church because of the rules in the bible. He had [b]his own version[/b] made where that inconvenience was changed.

Now do you understand? I'm going to guess "no", because you haven't been able to understand to this point.

Divorce is ok! God forgives that sin too however! God showed us in all the Bible versions that He divorced His people Israel when they left him and went after other gods and therefore were scattered into every nation and persecuted and killed by hateful people, (that prophesy came true)but Jesus has told us that in the last generation they will get their land back ( that prophesy came true in 1948) so we know Jesus is coming back any day to judge the living and the dead!

@Carazaa But that doesn't change the fact that King James altered the bible to suit his whims. That is a thing that actually happened. It is why it's called the "King James Version". There is nothing you can do that would change that. 🤷‍♀️

No matter how many times you skip by this, it is still a fact. The KJV is fundamentally different than all versions prior to it. You're just going to have to deal with it.

Because He loves us, Lord Jesus, God Almighty, came down and walked with us, and did miracles to show us that he can forgive our sins!

He was tortured and his blood was shed like a slaughtered Passover Lamb so we can be spotless and without sin, and go to heaven!

Just because you are ignoring it, doesn't mean that it's not true. Choosing a completely different thing than what I provided is not proof that you're correct. It just makes you appear weak and foolish for not being able to acknowledge that the KJV [b][i]is different[/i][/b] than the bible that was being used before King James [b][i]had his very own special version made[/i][/b]. I mean, this isn't hard to understand.

It will get harder and harder to convince people that all bibles are exactly the same, though. That's a shame.

I have proved you wrong with the KJV divorce example, so now you are pointing to other things to say "well, these are the same so I am right!". Guess what? You're not right. It is a [b]lie[/b] to state that all versions are exactly the same because they are not. But, as we've discovered with you and your ilk, lying is fine as long as it's for Jesus.

King James ALTERED the bible. That's why it's called the "King James [b]Version[/b]". If he altered it, how could it be the same as the one before it?
