"You're taking it out of context" [Spirituality & Religion]

Isn't it weird how Christians say that whenever a questionable Bible verse is presented to them, yet when they read a passage that is all about peace and love they'll just talk about how wonderful their god and Jesus is? 馃

There are passages from the Qu'ran that are so similar to what's in the Bible that many Christians mis-identify them when asked.

@Emosaur My point is that many people claim to follow a religion, but do not truly understand the thing they claim to believe in.

Most religions teach pretty much the same thing. There are more elements of religion that could bring people together.

Instead, people find distance from each other arguing over which prophet was real...

@Emosaur I think it has everything to do with your post. I also disagree with your assertion that people can't disagree because their religions are so different.

They disagree because they [u]believe[/u] their religions are so different.

It's ironic because they are actually more alike than not.
