I favour the second in regards to what established churches purport to be their sole understanding of "the truth".

I favour the former in terms of the interconnectedness of everything through some power I doubt we'll ever understand.

@SW-User So, you think man created God but you believe in "God" (being a name for a higher power) - You shouldn't fear naming your belief! How would you like it if we were friends and I kept calling you 'Hey, Dude' all the time?

@JollyRoger I don't and won't call it god as it isn't God as portrayed to me by the established religions I've been exposed to.

@SW-User BUT: It's evident that you have a 'belief' that there was a creator.... That creator should be able to carry a name so you can refer to it easily.... "Herbie" comes to mind if you'd like it to be a paternal figure.
