Science Can't Disprove Christianity [Spirituality & Religion]

@whowasthatmaskedman Who made Donald Trump? Did he just come about from "nothing" or from a bunch of dirt, dust, and cosmic trash thrown violently together, as some claim? Now that takes some [b]real[/b] imagination...at best!! That even insults [b]man's intelligence.[/b] And an extremely wild one, at that! The odds of that are infinitesimal! This comes from man's flawed presupposition that He can figure God out and put Him neatly in a box of his own making. God's thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are definitely not our ways. In a nutshell, it is the idea that God must do, act, and follow our lead, exactly as we think he ought to, and if he doesn’t, we’re going to tell Him that he doesn’t exist. In our extremely finite wisdom, we just [b]know[/b] we know better than God, and just how he [i]ought[/i] to do things. That is the height of arrogance, self-pride, ego, and lack of knowledge about God and of God's Word. Man is not smarter nor wiser than God. He never shall be. He thinks he is, but he is so sadly mistaken.

God says He is, and was, and always will be. That's why He calls Himself "I AM".  That describes an [b]eternal[/b] and [b]continuing[/b] presence.

He exists outside of time. He created time for us and it's all we know, but that doesn't mean it applies to Him, as well. He is bigger than time. He is bigger than space. His nature is beyond our comprehension.

No one created Him. He has always been. One reason we have difficulty understanding this, is because even time itself was created by God. Before time began, God already existed. This is why the Bible calls Him “the Alpha and the Omega (which are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet), the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End” (Revelation 22:13). Part of God’s greatness is that He is eternal. Unlike us, He had no beginning and He has no end.

We have difficulty with the concept of forever, too, and for the same reason- our understanding of time.

And yet He wants to be known. He has given us His Word, the Bible, to give us a picture of who He is - not a complete picture, but one we can stand on, if we trust Him.

There are many things about God, we will not understand, until we stand in His presence. That's why He tells us that faith and trust are so important. If we are determined to only accept the things about God that make sense to us - we will never know Him the way He wants us to know Him. He is our heavenly Father, and children who know they are loved, are able to trust their parents - even when they don't understand. Loving parents ask their children to trust them, and so does God.

As imperfect humans - our minds have a limit, and no, we cannot grasp the concept of eternity.

Psalm 90:2

"Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you formed the earth and the world, even from Everlasting to Everlasting, Thou Art God."

God has always existed - He has always been around. That's why He is referred to as the 'Creator', because He created the universe and everything within it.

Despite our ability to grasp mass amounts of knowledge - we don't  know everything- and there are many things we don't understand. Why? Because we're imperfect human beings. If we were perfect - we wouldn't need a backspace key,  an eraser, or an undo button.

God is the apha and the omega. The beginning and the end. There is nothing before and nothing after.

God is eternal.

Yahweh already proved himself to mankind and we can't to what He's already done. The evidence of His work is all around us so that we're without excuse.

Written by human beings....and the standard line after that is always "Human beings guided by God." And what's your evidence for that? The Bible. This is circular logic, and it is pointless. I've already stated that I consider the universe to be miraculous, but it is not proper, nor even necessary, for us to claim to know "Who" "Made" it, and with certainty claim to know just what this "Who" wants and demands of us. This is an absurd exercise. You are choosing to believe because your belief says to.

You and family line are living proof that Yahweh lives. After all, He created you. His Word, what you call the Holy Bible, was written by Him and Him alone. The name of the men you see in it are those whom He wrote it through because he loves working with His creation. The heavens and the earth are also evidence of God's work since created them. This fallen world we live in now is a result of the fall of mankind and not God.
