Science Can't Disprove Christianity [Spirituality & Religion]

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQN5IWafUaI]

It's true, it's been true, and it always will be true: science can't disprove Christianity. Why should it since it was ordained by God, Himself. Yahweh ordained science to benefit mankind in learning about Yahweh's creation and how He's made it work. Skeptics realize this even though they'll deny it. This is why they get frustrated and resort to ridiculing, mocking, and throwing tantrums. They do their best at trying to discredit us and our Heavenly Father and still fail at accepting the fact that Yahweh lives and His Word is Truth. All we can do at this point is pray for them and not get into foolish arguments with them lest we become fools like they make themselves out to be. I feel sorry for them, I really do.

I think gallilo had this discussion a few hundred years back ..
Speedyman · 70-79, M
Galileo was a theist @ozgirl512
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@Speedyman that may be true, at the time most were.. However, his scientific observations proved that the sun was the centre, locally, and not the earth as Christianity insisted at the time ...
Speedyman · 70-79, M
It was the scientists who insisted actually as they followed Aristotle’s model @ozgirl512

@ozgirl512 That's very well said 👌.Not only Christianity but also it is true with every religion. Sometimes the information that we receive may not be actual and perhaps it may be someone else's understanding of the truth. Truth is always evolving via learning and this learning is science. We shouldn't be surprised if tomorrow someone finds that sun is not the actual centre of this universe. Problems arise when we blindly reject every learnings. To summarise science has the power to disprove Christianity or any other beliefs.
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@Speedyman yes but the thought of the stake and all those flames meant he had to recant... The point being though that science did prove Christianity wrong
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@Mohana very true...I remember reading a quote from Einstein once... He had been asked how come he came up with such radical ideas.. He replied.. Because I stood on the shoulders of giants!

To me, that's it in a nutshell... Rather than blindly accepting, you test and prove :)
Speedyman · 70-79, M
Absolutely. Science had been blindly accepting Aristotle. @ozgirl512
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@Speedyman yes... And so did the church for his earth centred beliefs
Mohana · 46-50, F
@ozgirl512 Absolutely. You are spot on. There is nothing wrong in proving what we are supposed to believe. Imagine the situation, if everyone would have blindly accepted everything. This world would have been static. I am sorry, I can't recollect who said it,.. but change is the only constant in this world.
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@Mohana yep... Which is good mostly... Static is stagnation... And as Buddhist believe, we cause ourselves the most pain by refusing to face change
Mohana · 46-50, F
@ozgirl512 Yes exactly ! May be its not wrong to believe that every fact is dependent on time.
Speedyman · 70-79, M
@Mohana sorry but that is total rubbish. Science investigate the natural world. It has no power to disprove Christianity. In fact science proves atheism as it proves that we are investigating a rationally designed universe
Speedyman · 70-79, M
The problem is you are blindly accepting things which are blatantly not true@Mohana
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@Mohana yep.. We're scratching the surface still.. The Victorian English thought they had it all sorted too, exciting times 🤗

@ozgirl512
In fact science proves atheism as it proves that we are investigating a rationally designed universe

trying to discuss anything with this guy is a total waste. he is incoherent in his thought process.
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@Yulianna but still fun ;)
Yulianna · 22-25, F
@ozgirl512 yeah, ok... but i am taking your advice, going back to bed 🤗
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@Yulianna sounds admirable.. Catch up on your ... Sleep
Yulianna · 22-25, F
@ozgirl512 absolutely... 😇
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@Yulianna enjoy the snooze ...

@ozgirl512 The quote about standing on the shoulders of giants is generally attributed to Isaac Newton. There is a suggestion it was intended as an insult to his rival Robert Hooke who was very short.
Lhayezee · 26-30, F
@ozgirl512 Galileo got in trouble because he was incredibly obnoxious, not because the Church didn't like his research.
Mohana · 46-50, F
@ozgirl512 True. Let's keep embracing the change and live an exciting life :) 🤗
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@Mohana always...I try lol

Science sure hasn't the power to disprove Christianity.

The evidence of Christ, is found not only in the experience, but in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:38 "And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

Let's see science disprove that.

Further, it would be extremely difficult to prove that any particular ancient body, if one were found, was that of the biblical Jesus who died 2000 years ago. Therefore, it would be difficult for science to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt (that is what proof is) that the whole system of the Christian faith is false. So far, science hasn’t done that. It can't disprove that Jesus was God in the flesh and rose from the dead 2000 years ago. So science hasn't disproved anything.
