Should I become Catholic? [Spirituality & Religion]

I can't discard God yet, especially after smoking marijuana something in 2012 like my mind went pitch black and it went to this realm well darkness had covered my vision with a tall black shadow man emerging from the darkness rotating something, and in 2015 when I woke up I had two crumble up shirts next to me, they shape-shift into mask with two two horns and long chin and the other shirt shape-shifted to skull. I also saw the constellations at night connecting with beams of light in 2014 like there was images in the night sky, while the last to hallucinations were not induce by drugs rather by psychosis. I have also woken up and I will see writings in on the walls of my room, they look like equations but they only lasted a few secs. Like what if the bible was telling the truth but our egos make us believe that devil doesn't exist, I really don't care if people don't believe I'm more worry about me and actually going to hell.

I wouldn't recommend Catholicism but I would recommend a good Evangelical Christian tradition.

Actually most Christian evangelical churches are heretics they teach scripture that reaches error, and I don't agree with the idea that you are save by faith alone which is a beacon of protestant churches.

I did specify a GOOD Evangelical Church. You don't agree by Grace alone and prefer works may I suggest you read the report of the Council of Orange. It is the basis of most Christian thought.

@hippyjoe1955: Actually you are save by faith and works, I also believe in Mary and purgatory.

I believe the Mary was the mother of Jesus. She was also fully human and no there is no purgatory. Either the sacrifice of Christ was sufficient unto salvation or else Christianity doesn't exist.

@hippyjoe1955 Your theology is very flaw.

Nope not all. Jesus was fully God and fully man. He took His humanity from His mother therefore she had to be fully human. If she were semi divine then Jesus could not have been fully human and fully God. On the Cross Jesus cried out in a loud voice "IT IS FINISHED". That means there is no other way to God except through Him. You can not earn your way in and purgatory is just a back door way of earning your way. One final thing the works you speak of are God's works being done through you. It is not your doing.

@hippyjoe1955: Protestant Theology is flawed but then again I believe in purgatory regardless of what a protestant says because it makes the religion filled in the empty holes, and The Catholics scholars seem to find the idea of purgatory being mention in the bible.

@hippyjoe1955: This is Christian theology, accept jesus christ in your heart and you are save, that means after being baptize you should live a life fill with grace and do works, but the reality is that people keep on sinning after that, this why Christian theology is so broken.
