In the Old Testament God gave the Jews religious rules and rituals to follow for their sins, but then came Jesus who did away with the sacrifices. He became the sacrificed lamb for us because He loves us! We can't earn heaven. God earned it for us. We do not have to be religious to go to heaven! We do not have to ask a priest for forgiveness! We do not have to be perfect. Just have faith in Jesus! It is a relationship with Him that's the key!
