Yes I was taught it happened which is not surprising as it did.

@Speedyman How do you know it did?

@Speedyman There's no evidence to support the biblical flood story.
RedBaron · M
@Speedyman I never said it didn't, but you said with great certainty that it did. How do you know that?
Speedyman · 70-79, M
Historical evidence. Like the rest of history @RedBaron
Sharon · F
@Speedyman What historical evidence?
RedBaron · M
@Speedyman A story in some book does not constitute evidence, historical or otherwise.
Speedyman · 70-79, M
Funny but we get most of our history from books and manuscripts. So we wipe out history then? @RedBaron
Sharon · F
@Speedyman There's a difference between verified, cross-referenced documentation and fairy stories. Someone your age really ought to know that. Do you believe the Harry Potter stories are all true? They do reference real places.

Go and shake your fist of the imaginary fairies at the bottom of your garden like your friend Mr Dawkins does@Emosaur
Sharon · F
@Speedyman There aren't any fairies at the bottom of my garden. Who is this Mr Dawkins you refer to?

Historical evidence. Like the rest of history

Other than the Bible, what evidence do you have that a world-wide flood occurred?
Sharon · F
@Emosaur
Either you're trolling or you're just plain stupid.
Possibly both.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@Emosaur @Sharon
In simple terms, trolling is when someone comments or responds to something you post, usually in a confrontational way that is designed to garner a strong, emotional reaction. Although many people use the term in contexts where a sense of humor is appreciated, the truth is that internet trolling can get pretty nasty and isn't always a laughing matter.

Pretty close to the mark, I think.
JBird · F
@Speedyman Darwin was a Christian which makes him your friend, not ours. 😂😂

@JBird This should be interesting, lol.
