What Are Skeptics Afraid Of? [Spirituality & Religion]

[media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljmV2WcUyDI]

Skeptics fight hard against people of faith. Why? What are they afraid of? According to them, there is no God, or Heaven, or Hell. So, what are they afraid of? Why are they trying so hard to make us believe that science has taken the place of God? Why do they get so frustrated when the burden of proof is shifted onto them? Why do they hate God whom they claim never exists? Why?

"Yahweh is not a dictator like you think He is."

You're so right, Godspeed!! Have you ever known a dictator to kill himself for the sake of everyone else? If only people would realize that Jesus died on the cross because he loves us so much and to save us from hell. That sure doesn't describe a tyrant or anyone to fear, now does it?

Do you mean "Nietsche" is right? And that God is actually dead?

It's kinda funny that this is so important, that God killed himself for the sake of everyone else. While God knew from the start that he was going to resurrect himself? It's like shooting yourself in the head knowing that you will survive annyway, it becomes a meaningless act because you know the outcome in advance. Of course, it sounds pretty cool in the story, because it's romantic. Objectively speaking it's just theatrical.

I also wonder how this act makes an actor in a story less then a dictator? The entire story long he dictates what needs to be done and how people should behave. And if you don't follow the dictates you are punished because God is really authoritarian. The fact that he killed himself doesn't really change that fact at all.

And people can do the most evil things out of love. Love can be a really good motivator to do what "needs to be done". That doesn't mean the act that "needs to be done" can't be dictatorial. It depends on the act.
