What Are Skeptics Afraid Of? [Spirituality & Religion]

[media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljmV2WcUyDI]

Skeptics fight hard against people of faith. Why? What are they afraid of? According to them, there is no God, or Heaven, or Hell. So, what are they afraid of? Why are they trying so hard to make us believe that science has taken the place of God? Why do they get so frustrated when the burden of proof is shifted onto them? Why do they hate God whom they claim never exists? Why?

I was raised a Christian and practiced my faith for years. I still have great respect for those that have faith, whatever their beliefs may be.

I suppose I just don't see one belief being the answer for everybody, since most people are not born in the same faith I was.

Who am I to say what God really wants?

@Peapod For the true Christian, the Bible is our supreme authority.

@GodSpeed63 That’s right and because I won’t change the words of Jesus, I’m hated. Also hated for believing it and speaking it. If we speak what HE says we are many times called a judge... and God in his heaven knows I KNOW I’m nobody’s judge! John 5:22 tells us:
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: John 1:14 tells us: [b]And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. In John chapter 12: verse 48, Jesus tells us: “He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day”. I stand on his word without fear of people and unashamedly as he said, If we are ashamed of him, he will be ashamed of us when he comes in all his glory ...and if we suffer with him, we will reign with him. Jesus said, John 15:18-27 King James Version (KJV)

18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. (That tells me he was hated and his people will be hated too by this world that does not know him)!
