Do you believe in God? Why or why not? [Spirituality & Religion]

@SW-User Did it improve your outlook on life? Did you feel more positive and generally like a better mood & stuff?

@DR8855 it gives me direction, an Outlook on myself and it's a constant battle with yourself once find God, for myself but I see different people react differently. There are major assholes out here that believe in God but have nothing to do with God. It depends entirely on the person what the God experience will be for them. Like when I was Little I dreamed of becoming a sniper (army) and just shoot some bad people but now I can't do that cause it's against God that I believe in. I also used to get mad at God when my prayers weren't answered, now 10 years later I thank God cause had He done it my way then, I would've been screwed right now. The thing is that He knows us better than we know ourselves. I think faith is really about Trust in God. And it's not whether you believe in God, it's whether He believes in you...

@DR8855 I had a choice of all religions , Jesus just kind of "clicked" with me even thought Christianity is a very demanding religion I think. Sometimes it requires more out of your soul then it seems it gives. Sometimes to see or realize the benefits , takes years, it's like a test of patience. But once you realize the power that Jesus holds...all other religions out there seem inferiour. I was also lucky to realize and experience that even letters of the name Jesus...have power. But anyway, it's demanding...cause try loving your enemies, not judge etc etc

@Emosaur that's not what I meant lol. I meant if you don't have the God IN YOUR HEART/SOUL ....no religion will save your ass. Do you know how many religious and at the same time godLESS people are out there???

@Emosaur When I first " met" religion ( was introduced by another person) it meant very little to me. After only some horrible situations through which I " met" God, that religion gained deeper meaning for me because God is powerful. I goes it works differently for everyone. This is just my personal story. Others are different.

@Emosaur oh, boy, you haven't seen some Christians out there... How about Catholic pedophile priests ..for one example.
