Actually this IS a talking point; if everyone had a gun criminals would be scared to commit crimes. Hence the more guns the lower the crime rate. There must be NO crime in Texas therefore. @windinhishair

The problem is that guns have become some bizarre phallic/ potent symbol. And they allow people to play out heroic fantasies. I have a gun therefore I am important.@windinhishair
