In The End, God Wins! [Spirituality & Religion]

God wins because He is Love, Good, Almighty, and Just.

We who receive His gift of salvation through Jesus Christ by His Holy Spirit will win also for we are more than conquerors as His Word says in Romans 8.

Those who are against Him lose in the end regardless of their plans to win against Him and His Christ.

Listen, no disbelief, or ridiculing, or mocking, or scourging, or anything evil will prevail against Him. No lie of man can ever withstand the Truth of God.

But if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15

Everyone serves a deity whether they think so or not.

Not everyone serves a deity.

Everybody does, whether they are aware of it or not.

@GodSpeed63 If we all serve him, our actions in life don't really matter much.

Either there's free will, or theres universal servitude.

The bible is pretty clear about that bit. You have to choose god and seek forgiveness. It doesn't come by with no effort at all.

And with that said, I serve no deity.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@GodSpeed63 Bullshit..but. not the kind that comes from a golden calf!
Carazaa · F
@Lucia it matters how you act because God holds us responsible for our actions and he blesses you if you love others. If you are born again then you want to please Jesus always. If you are not born again, then realize that every single thought and deed with be judged by God when she comes back in the clouds!
Lucia · 36-40, T
@Carazaa I completely accept that you believe this - or that you know this to be true. But it doesn't make the same amount of sense to all of us :-)

Merry christmas though.
Carazaa · F
@Lucia I know it is repulsive to non Christians. It was to me too before I was one. Merry Christmas, or Happy Holidays!
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@Carazaa Its not repulsive it's just stupid tbh.
Lucia · 36-40, T
@Entwistle The only really stupid thing is not being accepting of other people's stance - on both sides.
Carazaa · F
@Entwistle very disrespectful of you!
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@Carazaa No it's just my opinion. You can view it as disrespectful if you wish.
Lucia · 36-40, T
@Entwistle It's disrespectful. And I believe as little in religion as you do.
Carazaa · F
@Entwistle I think you are totally rude and please do not write me ever again!
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@Lucia No disrespect was given. It's my opinion that's all. Worshipping a fictional 2000 year old zombie is in my opinion a stupid thing to do.
Carazaa · F
@Lucia 💖thank you I believe in kindness and nothing worse than disrespectful men to women! It is just bad manners! Low class!
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@Carazaa You stop replying to me too. You once offered to pray for me without my permission. That was disrespectful.
Carazaa · F
@Entwistle I am blocking you now!
Lucia · 36-40, T
@Entwistle No it wasn't. If you are intellectually above religion you should see it is no more dangerous or impolite than thinking about someone and hoping something good for them.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@Lucia It's totally disrespectful to pray for someone who doesn't believe in God. It's contrary to the person's wishes. If she had asked "Can I pray for you"? Then that would have been the decent thing to do. Asking permission is always best.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Entwistle
It's totally disrespectful to pray for someone who doesn't believe in God.
Why?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Lucia
Either there's free will, or theres universal servitude.
God does grant us free will. We have the freedom to believe what we wish but are responsible to believe in the truth rather than the lie. We have freedom of speech but, again, the responsibility to speak the truth rather than the lie, we also have the freedom to live out our lives as we choose but, again, the responsibility to live them in accordance with the truth which is God's Word. Do you get what I'm saying?
Lucia · 36-40, T
@GodSpeed63 I get what you are saying, but I don't agree. Free will and free choice is contrary to forced servitude. Faith and religious behaviour is a choice. Not a given. And I didn't do it.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Lucia
Free will and free choice is contrary to forced servitude.
Where are you getting the idea that God is forcing servitude on us?
@Entwistle The unpopular truth is .............

Entwistle · 56-60, M
@GodSpeed63 He forced free will on people.
