Is Christianity and Islam two sides of the same coin,when it comes to sacrifice of animals?

Islam sacrifices, but I am not aware of Christians sacrificing animals today, or in the sense that they're doing it for their religion anyway, although perhaps you can say in the days of the old testament they did?

Perhaps you could also say Christians are sacrificing their own life though and many their children also, especially those imposing religious strictures on themselves, and their children. Humans are animals.

@Shanky321 i'm not Christian, it's natural for me if i don't know about it, and i never saw in my life any Christian doing that
