Does it offend Atheists if they get Christmas Cards? [Spirituality & Religion]

Even if there is no mention of Jesus on them but just some snow maybe?

They profit plenty from all holidays which are not their own. Atheists will steal anything. Since they lack a moral compass.

@Anonymartyr Religion being the source and arbiter of morality, huh?
CodeLyoko · 16-17, M
@Anonymartyr Were was gods moral when he told people to kill babies?
@newjaninev2 God is love, without God there cannot be love. This world does not know God, even the so-called religious people, which is why the world is as bad as it is. I know God personally, I don't need a religion to help me "fake it". I have nothing in common with either atheists, nor religious people (Agnostics).

@CodeLyoko I totally get it everybody celebrates Christmas but playing devil's advocate here. It's not right to celebrate a deeply meaningful holiday which was created to give reverence to a God that you dont believe in while stripping the meaning out of something so very important to the people who do celebrate it as intended. It's the ultimate cultural appropriation.

@REMsleep Boo hoo
REMsleep · 41-45, F
@CodeLyoko Very well reasoned response
@REMsleep The bible never mentions any Christian holidays, the origin of Christmas is actually Pagan and first incorporated by the Roman Catholic Church. All Christian holidays are actually Pagan in origin.
REMsleep · 41-45, F
@Anonymartyr Tell me something I dont know. Nothing regarding what I said is changed by this.No man is an island hence I said that "I get it everybody celebrates Christmas " I also understand pagan traditions merged with deeply religious beliefs in order to lure adherents in ancient times. This means nothing to the last 1700 years of Christians who celebrate Christmas for the reason of Christs birth.

@REMsleep
everybody celebrates Christmas
Except for most of the world’s population
@REMsleep Christ was born near harvest time, not winter solstice according to any bible containing the old testament. But you knew that. People are free to join any social club they want, but there is only one way to obey God.
@newjaninev2 And shut-ins with no family. Which both religious people and non-religious people both hate whole-heartedly as shown by their attitudes towards them.
REMsleep · 41-45, F
@newjaninev2 I mean everybody in the sense of atheists, my Muslim friends and so forth, not worldwide. I was keeping it within the context the ops question.
@REMsleep I belong only to Christ and His Kingdom is my only citizenship. Nobody else even has healthy intentions towards me. Because I was born a bastard and am visibly crippled and therefore poor.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@REMsleep and we’re back to ‘why would atheists celebrate the birth of that Jesus guy’?
CodeLyoko · 16-17, M
@Anonymartyr Are you trolling?
@CodeLyoko Not at all. I believe what I believe. I don't pretend to believe just to "fit in" like the majority. And I don't hate just to fit in either.
CodeLyoko · 16-17, M
@Anonymartyr i do agree lots of christains beleive just to fit in, in the sense they just beleive and put no effort into it, but still have the "morals" of the bible to judge others.
@CodeLyoko Biblical morals are very strict, Church leaders hope and pray that members will obey the Word on their own, but do not promote the strictures within the institute for "fear" that the collection plates would come up short of the bills. This does not change the punishment waiting for them one bit. Either you have biblical morals or you have no morals.
If I steal only a little does this mean I am not really a thief?
CodeLyoko · 16-17, M
@Anonymartyr Bruh so you saying a person who doesnt belive in god but is super nice, doesnt break the laws and or do messed up stuff, has no morals? Hahahah, what a joke
REMsleep · 41-45, F
@CodeLyoko That part is actually true. The Bible speaks harshly against these kinds of "Christians". Bible says faith without deeds is dead. This leads to some disagreements on how far is too far in terms of totally ignoring what you profess to believe in your daily life.
