We all have Gods laws on our hearts, and we all know right and wrong. God gave that to us! Only Jesus took our sins on his shoulders. The earth is cursed from the garden of Eden because of our sins continually. But he has restored us to himself when he took our sins away and paid the price. If we repent and believe, we have hope for the future, and he will help us and answer our prayers, and walk before us, and have heaven in the next life too wow! What an amazing God we have! I want to be obedient and have his blessings!🌷

@Carazaa I know you believe that but where's your evidence to support it? Followers of other religions say much the same of their gods. Why should anyone believe your version over theirs?

@Sharon

This is my answer on Pikachu's post to a few of those skeptics, and this is the answer to your question.

How can I or anyone prove that God created the earth, and that he is with those who love Him. I think you have to look at the Christian countries and see they are prospering, and Christian families and see that they are successful, and talk to someone who has faith and has seen God move in many peoples lives, and talk to many very successful and happy scientists and their families. The really successful scientists that I have seen in my home, visiting researchers from all over the world, are curious people. Not only about science but about why we are here, where we came from, and how to be happy and be successful. They ski, play the piano, have bands, they paint, write books, travel everywhere, and read everything including the Bible.

Science does not answer the vital questions they have, so they aren't fanatical about what they do in general, it is a reward for being curious and diligent at work and highly educated. The most vital questions are where did we come from, why are we here, and what is our purpose for living, and how to have success. Science only answers some, not all, and it doesn't give a road to successful living, hope for the future, and why we are here, and what happens to our soul, and that there is someone who will help us when we are discouraged.

The Bible answers all those questions. It gives us hope for the future because we know someone loves us and will help us. "We are fearfully, and wonderfully made" God tells us. God has a purpose for all of us. To live our best life. This life is very important, but short. I have a strong faith and believe God gives me wisdom daily of what to do, and he helps me. I would have never been as successful in my field if I hadn't leaned on God. I would not be writing books, I would not have been able to have a business, or overcome so many obstacles, and also have fun, ski, and travel. Why I love this video and Dr. Tour's is great scientist will admit we know very little. The more we know, the more we know that we don't know very much at all. But the Bible tells us all that we need to know to have a very successful science career, or how to be successful in life, including the answers to questions that science can't answer! What other book is God speaking to man? What other God dies for your sins? What other God is honest and tells us what's wrong with us and that we are sinners? What other God answers our prayers? Only Jesus died to set us free!

@Carazaa That doesn't prove anything. I could replace the word "god" with "The Flying Spaghetti Monster" and "bible" with "The Ladybird Book of Myth" to prove the existence of the FSM to the same standard.

Also, many christian countries are NOT prospering, in some cases their citizens are destitute, and many non-christian countries are doing very well.

@Sharon
That doesn't prove anything
Yahweh already proved Himself to mankind and the evidence of His handiwork is plainly seen all around so that we are without excuse.
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63 You're wrong. What you see is evidence of The Flying Spaghetti Monster, not your yahweh thing. You can't prove The Flying Spaghetti Monster doesn't live so you better get used to the fact that It does. r'Amen.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
You're wrong.
Not according to Yahweh's Word.

@GodSpeed63
Not according to Yahweh's Word.
Your imaginary friend will say whatever you want it to say, but it's not the Truth. 🤣🤣😜
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
Your imaginary friend
I don't have an imaginary friend. You can read, can't you?
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63 Yes you do, you call it "yahweh". Your memory must be failing if you've forgotten already.
Carazaa · F
@Sharon Be kind, please!
Sharon · F
@Carazaa He keeps going on about his imaginary friend "yahweh" but now he denies it. I'm just pointing out that simple truth.

I'm also treaing him the way he wants me to. I presume he accepts the doctrine of "do unto others as you would want them to do unto you".
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
Yes you do, you call it "yahweh"
You're imaginary friend is 'yahweh,' my Friend is Yahweh, the one true God. There's a difference.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
I'm just pointing out that simple truth.
That is not simple truth but your opinion. Opinions don't count when you're sharing the truth with someone else; actual truth that is, opinions and suppositions don't count here.
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63 There's no difference. Your "yahewh" thing is just a figment of your imagination, it makes no difference whether you capitalize the first letter or not.
Opinions don't count when you're sharing the truth with someone else;
You should remember that next time you dishonestly present your opinion as "truth".
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
Your "yahewh" thing is just a figment of your imagination
I don't have a yahweh thing. That's your god.
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63
I don't have a yahweh thing. That's your god.
You're getting really confused again. I don't have any gods, that fact is clear enough for anyone to see. It is you who keeps banging on about your "friend" or "father" called yahweh. Denying it doesn't change the facts.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@Sharon I think you might have him confused because you didn't capitalise the 'y'. If it's not exactly the same as in the Bible, he can't understand or accept it.
Carazaa · F
@Bushranger Don't be mean and talk about others!
Carazaa · F
@Sharon The Golden rule means that if someone is mean you still treat them with kindness! You treat people the way YOU want to be treated. Jesus taught that, and it is hard to do!
Sharon · F
@Carazaa He was only explaining how I might have confused godspeed. He certainly seems very confused, not knowing whether he has a god or not.
Sharon · F
@Carazaa
You treat people the way YOU want to be treated. Jesus taught that,
That why, when christians abuses others, I presume it's because they want others to abuse them. I show respect by complying with their wishes.
Carazaa · F
@Sharon Born again Christians are loving people!
Sharon · F
@Carazaa Not in my experience! Quite the opposite in fact.
Carazaa · F
@Sharon Sorry about that! That's sad! Well I care about you and I do believe in being kindhearted!
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
Not in my experience! Quite the opposite in fact.
What do you call 'Christians?'
