Zealouse religious sects in the middle east and Africa (and other places, but mostly there) live in terrible third world conditions that never seem to change. This is due to many factors, but one important one is the spiritual views often held in this region which compromises the value of this life. Many Jihadist and Jihadists supporters have the goal of getting to paradise on their minds which leads to an indifference to this life and their own families that would normally only be explained by an extreme condition of sociopathy. There are videos of palestinian women who have just got the news of their sons blowing up in a suicide bombing and becoming ectastic about it... this has to stop.
