I just hate it when people put blame on Satan for their mistakes instead of taking responsibility. [Spirituality & Religion]

I guess Christians made up Satan to hold their guilty and wrongdoings. Lol.

So as in the days of Noah, there will be a close of probation and all will finally believe when they see him coming in the clouds of glory,.. But he will say to them get thee behind me i never knew you... And tbey will perish forever,... Sad
JBird · F
@Sassygirl42 actually wars and disasters have come and gone. No God show up to saved any Christians. Even if a huge flood comes again, I am sure you will be drowing with the rest of non believers because again no God will show up.
Sassygirl42 · 51-55, F
@JBird one day you will see..... One day. Very soon
JBird · F
@Sassygirl42 people have been saying for a very long time ever since Christianity came around. I doubt it if I will 'see' it in my lifetime. 😆
Sassygirl42 · 51-55, F
@JBird even if you don't he will raise all from the dead all will see him. He will raise all but only those who chose him before their death will live with him eternally.
JBird · F
@Sassygirl42 It's always 'will'. Again people have been saying that for more than two thousand years and nothing happened.
@JBird God showed up, alright. People just rejected him.
JBird · F
@LadyGrace Showed up where?
@JBird When he came from His Heavenly home, to earth, to tell mankind the way to heaven. He was born to be our Savior. He took on this form so that we could know he understands all our sorrows, etc., as he experienced life as a human being.
JBird · F
@LadyGrace When? I think everyone missed that. 😆
@JBird 🤣 Well, we certainly did, given we were not alive then, but I thank God that His followers, who witnessed Him, kept record of it. Contrary to belief, there are no contradictions or flaws from these men. The "flaws" came from flawful man, as the transcripts were handed down, and not many, but the main thing is, what was preserved, gave us exactly what we needed to know in order to have eternal life in heaven. And that's what counts.
@JBird In the generation that experienced the flood, God did show up for His followers, which at that time, was only Noah and his family. This didn't happen overnight. Just as God warns this generation to stop sinning, God warned the generation of Noah a few hundred years before he brought the flood, but they would not listen. Just like today. They think it's a joke.

The flood was just because mankind was evil. “The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time” (Genesis 6:5). The evil was “great,” and every thought of everyone’s heart was only evil continually. There was no goodness in the world; every person was wholly corrupted. There was nothing within them that was not evil. The people of Noah’s day were not dabblers in sin; they had taken the plunge, and everything they did was an abomination. So that future generations would not be corrupted, that generation had to be destroyed.

As long as there have been sinners in the world, there have been charges that God is unjust. Consider Adam’s subtle shifting of blame. When asked about eating the forbidden fruit, Adam said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit” (Genesis 3:12). That is, it was the woman’s fault, and God’s, since He made the woman. But blaming God did not mitigate Adam’s sin. And calling God “unjust” for sending the flood will not lessen ours.

The LORD is upright . . . and there is no wickedness in him” (Psalm 92:15). “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of [God’s] throne” (Psalm 89:14). God always does what is right. His decrees and judgments are always just. If He decreed that the whole world be flooded, then He was just in doing so, no matter what human skeptics say. It is not surprising that we tend to define justice in a way that will benefit ourselves.

@LadyGrace Again, these are all just stories in Bible. There's no evidence of a huge flood that devasted the world. If not flood, there were similar events that terrorized the world like 9/11, tsunami and earthquake. Why didn't God show up and saved Christians?
@JBird That's not what archeologists are saying anymore. The more they study, examine, and dig, the more even skeptics are admitting to the evidence of a global flood. They said they have no other way of explaining it.
JBird · F
@LadyGrace Which archeologists? If you didn't know, there could be evidences of early aquatic life on land because earth once only had a huge continent which split into different continents
@JBird To one who believes, no explanation is necessary. To one that doesn't, no explanation is possible, for the same reason a thief doesn't look for a cop.
JBird · F
@LadyGrace To believe a lie, no explanation is needed of course. To cover up a lie, no explanation is enough
@JBird But you have no proof it is a lie. God can be seen everywhere if you look. But I notice you even discounted my daughter's miracle. That tells me you really are not looking for God. You are making excuses and just wanting to argue and I really don't have time for that.
JBird · F
@LadyGrace Of course, I can prove it's a lie. I call miracles as being lucky. I am happy for your daughter but there are people who died in vain. Why didn't God save them? I am not making excuses. Good things and bad things happen at the same time. It doesn't mean God is behind good things and Satan is behind bad ones. Today I could be escaped narrowly from an accident and I can praise the God for it only to be killed by another fatal accident tomorrow
@JBird Sorry. Luck cannot save a person's life. Only God can do that.

Why didn't God save some from dying? The answers are vast on that one as it is an individual thing. But I can tell you that most are not saved because they do not believe in him. They mock him. He is not a cosmic Genie that one can call on when they get in trouble and expect a miracle.
JBird · F
@LadyGrace If he can't save people when called, then he isn't a God or a savior for that matter. Then there's no use to worship him at all. And yes, it's luck if something good happens out of blue.
@JBird God doesn't answer those who want nothing to do with Him. And mock him. Or hate him. He's no fool.
JBird · F
@LadyGrace people only mock him or 'hate' him if he doesn't reply to him. I rejected God when he ignored me when I needed him. Just like children disrespecting their irresponsible parents. And there are Christians who are still waiting for God's answers and some of them died without the answers.
@JBird So in other words, like a child, if you don't get your way then you leave, or pout, and go away from Him forever? Don't forget. God always has our best interest at heart and when he answers us even if we don't like the results, we know that he did give us what we needed, not what we wanted selfishly. If you know your Bible, you will also know that God said in his word that sometimes we ask amiss, meaning asking for things we really don't need but just want or else we ask selfishly. When God says no, that's because he either has something better in mind for you, or he is protecting you from something that could hurt you or was not good for you in the long run. God will not be ordered around by his own creation. And like I said, there are many reasons why we do not get what we want. Do you expect that people can live like the devil through the whole week and then on Sunday go to church and ask for blessings? God is not a gift horse. And he will not be treated that way. God always answers prayer, but it is according to his will, not our selfish will. He can see into our future and knows what's best for us and he always, always gives us his very best, and we should not expect more. Some people don't even know God but yet will call out to him when things go wrong and then wonder why he doesn't answer. It's simple. He does not know them.

God never leaves us or abandons us. It is we who abandon Him, every time we don't get our way. Even when haters nailed him to the Cross, what did he do? He still never abandoned them. In fact, He looked up to his father and said "Father, forgive them... for they know not what they do!"

If God seems far away, it's not Him, who moved.
JBird · F
@LadyGrace There's a thin line between 'not getting my way' and 'getting help' when needed. Obviously you can't understand the pain of being helpless, that's why you foolishly praising God.

I have seen a cousin of mine in pain and suffering as he was dying from cancer. He was young, intelligent and had a family. God never gave him a chance. I saw burnt bodies of school children after fire broke out in a school. Where was God at that time? Did all of them mock God? Was that question merely childish request of mine or trying to 'getting my way'? You're just so insensitive. You became lucky for a moment and you're insensitively judging people who wasn't lucky enough. Let's hope karma don't get you.
@JBird You don't know me. I've had just as much pain as everyone else. But I don't blame God for my problems. I made terrible choices. I have lived on the street. I have lost two children. I've been through terrible abuse. I have had NO help, when I fell and broke my arm and shattered my shoulder. I been robbed, and I lost my nice home because of people who take advantage and want to hurt others, and this person was in my own family, so do not tell me what I am. Now who's judging. I've seen more miracles in my life than that one incident. Don't tell me about pain unless you have buried two children of your own. And don't blame God for man's sins. What you don't understand is that we live in a fallen world because of our sins. We need to take responsibility for spraying crops with poison, and then wonder why we have cancer. Some people don't take care of themselves And then they get sick, and then they get cancer... that's not God's fault. God didn't give him a chance? God did not create evil or disease in this world. God did not put the cancer on him. Since you said you used to be a Christian then you should know that Satan is the author of disease and destruction in this world. Not God. Sin does, as you should also know, bring death. And that does not mean that I am saying he died because of sin in his life. I am saying that the Bible says that as long as we have sin in this world, this world will slowly die and decay, and that's the reason for it, not God. We ALL die eventually, because of sin in this world. Now if you want to blame God for that you go right ahead. I don't. God has been nothing but good to me and gave me peace that passes all understanding when I lost my children and when I lost my husband, and when I lost my best friend, and so on and so on. Only God and His Spirit could bring that kind of peace during such heartache. That's why he gave us hope in this world that when we die, we will see our loved ones in heaven. Or would you rather the alternative? And your wish and hope of karma to get me, will never happen, because God already has me.
