Why God Deserves Our Praise [Spirituality & Religion]
It's simple. God seeks and requests our worship, because He truly deserves it... because it is the nature of a born-again believer to worship and honor Him, who saves us from eternal separation from God in heaven... because without Jesus and His great love and grace, every one of us would be lost forever.
Contrary to belief, it is not Jesus that separates us from God, His Father. It is our sins that separate and condemn us. How can we say it is Jesus who condemns us, when it was He, who volunteered to pay for our sins with His very life and blood, on the cross? He did that for you, me, for the world, so we could spend eternity in heaven. He didn't have to do that, but He did. He proved His love for us. I'm so thankful. No other god in this, or any other world, did that for us.
Hebrews 9:22 - "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin."
That is the theme of redemptive history: to worship the true, living, and glorious God.

I’m still trying to understand sweetheart, God & Jesus are the same or are they not? Sorry I get confused easily with Christianity 🤦🏻♀️
@SW-User Please never be sorry. We all felt the same way. I'll try and explain it this way. You know how water has three properties (solid, liquid, and gas)? It can be ANY of those things, yet it is still water. That's similar to how God is. God is actually three different people, in that each person relates to us in different ways, yet they are all still what is known as GOD. One does not function without the other. They are always in complete harmony with each other.
God the Father God the Son...Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit.

@SW-User They are not the same person. They do things in harmony. You know how when people get married, they become one? They're not the same person yet they function as "one", and in harmony. Each consults the other before doing things. Or they are supposed to. 😂
God is Jesus's Father. They communicate spiritually. They can read each other's mind. Or they can speak out loud as well.

@SW-User Jesus and God are not the same entity. Jesus is a person in the trinity, just as the Father and the Holy Spirit.
Godhead is not three Gods; but three Persons in one Godhead. We have God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ, “the Word” of John 1:1,14), and God the Holy Spirit.
