God is not so far away that you can't know Him or have a personal relationship with Him. [Spirituality & Religion]
Before I was saved, I knew nothing. I did not realize or know it was even [b]possible[/b] to have a relationship with God, by exercising my own faith, and my spirit connecting with His (praying). I had no idea, until I experienced Jesus for myself, and I am still amazed to this day!! I never in a million years would have guessed that Jesus could bring my spirit alive and help me to understand the things of God, and heaven. Spirit understands spirit. It is nothing short of a miracle and it's so easy to have a relationship with Jesus. Besides, it's not a rule or necessity that we know everything about him or Heaven, before we can be saved. Thank God!
If you can understand this. First we are born of the flesh, that is, out of our mother's womb. But we also have a [u]spiritual[/u] side of us, that needs to be awakened and connected to Jesus, in order to know Him and be with Him in heaven. Only Jesus can do that. WHY? Because Jesus is the Son of [u]God the Father[/u], and therefore, is the only one in the universe that has access to His Father.
There is what we call a "veil" which separates us from Jesus in heaven. That "veil" is sin. Sin is the [b]only[/b] thing that separates us from Jesus. There can be no sin in heaven, or it would not be heaven, right? So when we ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins, he cleanses us of them, and washes them [u]all[/u] away. He forgets every single sin we've ever committed. That's why it is called being "born again". We start life fresh and new....just as if we'd never sinned! THIS time, our [u]spirit[/u] is "born" or made alive, by Jesus! That brings us immediately into fellowship with Jesus and HIS spirit. Then we can have eternal life.
