Some thing are. Some are not. There were many "books" that were omitted from the Bible in 325 during the Council of Nicea. I would like to know what they said, like the Gospel of Mary and the Gospel of Judas.

@karysma I think they have found several including Mary and Judas and a couple if other disciples.
There are stories of Jesus not in the final compilation. Such as when he was a boy and made clay birds. Then commanded them to fly away and supposedly they did. Also the story of how he killed another boy just by looking at him when he got angry.

@karysma There are MANY of the non-canonical books in existence, plus alternate versions and translations of the canon. Th DEAD SEA SCROLLS, THE APOCRYPHAL BOOKS, THEW FORGOTTEN BOOKS OF THE BIBLE, etc. are all available online or in bookstores.

But this sounds like something He'd do

Any idea what they talk about? More of God's word?

@karysma Been years since I read them, but there are stories about things like Jesus' childhood, Mary and Mary Magdalene, at least one Gospel.

@DudeistPriest I've never read that. However, I have always thought that when Jesus said to Judas "Now go and do what you must do" ( or something of the like, that told me that Jesus knew exactly what Judas was going to do and they both knew.
But tell that to your local preacher, as I did, and they look at you like you are crazy or retarded.
