@Sassygirl42 Except that is not what the 7 day ads teach. Too bad you don't know the teachings of your own church. They very distinctly teach that we have to obey the law to obtain salvation. That is contrary to Jesus and Paul's teachings. IOW you call Jesus a liar but claim to be Christian. Strange eh wot?

@Sassygirl42 I am not the one to instruct you but no you don't know the TRUTH. You only hear about Him from those who are equally lost. The blind leading the blind never works out in the end. When you receive the Spirit then you have a sound teacher but you will never receive Him the way you are going. You simply can't suck and blow at the same time. Either you follow Jesus or you follow the law. The law only condemns and never justifies or sanctifies. Only the acceptance of Jesus can do that.

@hippyjoe1955 the law that was nailed to cross was moses law which required people to make sacrifices not the Sabbath not the commandments. Is it ok to steal? Cheat? Or dishonor your parents? God never changes! He warns people never to take anything from his word. He says if you love me keep my commandments all of them...

@hippyjoe1955 The fact is we can never keep the law. The law is perfect but we are imperfect. We can not do what the law requires us to do. Therefore God made a better way. He through the gift of His Son Jesus Christ has promised us a New Nature against which no law holds sway. We stop sinning not by our will but by His Will. We inherit the nature of Jesus. All you have to do is ask Him and He will freely give it to you. Forget about silly rules and regulations you have a wonderful life to live where the impossible is possible!!! Even the things you think were sin are turned to God's advantage as He works all things out in Christ Jesus.

@Sassygirl42 The ten commandments were the basis of the law. Without them there would be no law. They were nailed to the cross as well.

@Sassygirl42 He didn't change. He used one to show how useless it was. Then He revealed a better way. That you want to hang on to the old and not the new simply shows your unreformed mind. Again 'not Christian'. The things of this world can not grasp spiritual things.
