I saw a video where Hindus viciously attacking a non Hindu because he didn't say their useless chant 'Jai Sri ram'. [Spirituality & Religion]

I intentionally didn't share or download the video because it's too graphic and it shaken me up. But it left me with hard reality how religions corrupt a mind even driving them to act cruelly.

You can take any ideology to try to justify an unjust act. People who hold tendencies of engaging in attacks like these would do so regardless of their faith. It's just sad seeing shit like this.
Oh and context matters. I'm assuming this happened in India? (correct me if I'm wrong)

If right, India is going through very politically driven times. Their prime minister, like many others has sparked these attacks.
That's not to justify (I'm not even hindu) I just aim in seeing the whole picture because when I see things like this, if you allow it it's so easy to get caught up in the same hate that drives people to vicious attacks of such.

Yep. You are wrong. I am not Hindu either and I am very well scared of my security right now since majority Hindus are turning to murderous mobs. I am not saying only Hinduism does it. If India was a Christian or Muslim majority country, I am sure they will attack Hindus too, if the politicians are using the same tactics

@JBird Are you from India? I've heard and read quite a bit on what's happening😕 Stay safe.

@NickiHijab my mother is Indian so I have to be in India with her and at a wrong time.

@JBird I meant if this took place in India. Not whether you were Hindu or not but I hear you and you're right. Majority always have the upperhand.
