Do you have a favorite bible story? [Spirituality & Religion]

On of my favorites is probably Moses leading his people out of slavery, along with the resurrection of Lazarus.

It's not technically a Bible story, but Dante's Inferno is pretty damn metal. I also kinda like Samson's story, but I haven't read a whole lot of it.

Balaam and the talking donkey.

@HannibalMontanimal That is one of my favorites also. I can see the donkey looking back and talking common sense to a prophet about to be struck down by an Angel!
Thebestof1995 · 26-30, F
@HannibalMontanimal I'm not entirely familiar with that one. Didn't the donkey speak to him and say, "why do you strike me?"
HannibalMontanimal · 26-30, M
@Thebestof1995 Yeah. Makes me wonder. If God can open the donkeys mouth and speak though it to try and reason with balaam, what else can he do. He even asked him "have I been in the habit of doing this to you" "and then the Lord opened balaams eyes and he saw the angel of the Lord and he bowed low and fell face down".

I think of the story in Daniel when the three men wouldn’t bow down to the idol. That story always amazes me!

@Pfuzylogic you're talking about the three men who were forced into the fiery furnace and didn't burn?
Pfuzylogic · M
@Thebestof1995
In the end there were four in the furnace someone came in and accompanied them in songs of praise. It reminds me that Faith overcomes fear.

Jesus on the cross, when He says to the thief "today you will be with me in paradise"
I don't believe it was a story, I believe 100 per cent it happened
