@suchaslife I'd like to know does the church have rules that if a girl is raped she needs a witness to be able to report that to the church. Evangelicals continued to support Roy Moore and Donald Trump despite multiple accusations of predatory actions.

Evangelical strong belief in salvation and forgiveness also require sincerly that one should be genuinely sorry and have intentions never to commit whatever wrong they did again! It is individual evil sickos who needs to be accountable for their actions! Evangelical belief does not support rape. I mean let's start on Catholic then hmmm, how about Muslim, Mormons, Scientology. Devil is real,, that's what I am saying and God help us all.

@suchaslife The Evangelical Church does forgive rape, they did forgive Trump and Roy Moore. Andy Savage is one of the powerful, wealthy evangelical clerics implicated in the #churchtoo movement in which congregants are disclosing the sexual assaults and harassment they experienced at the hands of faith leaders. Savage got a standing ovation from his congregation after admitting raping Jules Woodson? He admitted rape and somehow the Evangelicals loved him for that.

@suchaslife I am trying to educate myself about their beiefs and views about certain issues, that is it. I do not want to use public platfor to debate anything, i just want to understand why certain things are.

@Pitchblue Its just my opinion and I respect yours and can see how most people would feel, believe me if someone i mean anyone hurt my loved one or my child I am convinced that I will be the one getting charged and serving time if I get my hands on them first! There is nothing wrong by admitting and accepting that you have done wrong. Remorse admitting your mistake and taking responsibility for one bad actions is some thing that should be encouraged and don't imagine is easy to do. And its not!
Being Forgiven? Well that's debatable. Evangelistic choose to believe That only God can and Will judge you. After all whats done is done. I don't believe anyone get a way with being evil or doing devil work! Don't forget there is justice system that even do the killing itself to those we have judged and condemned. Evil is evil, I mean if you are going to hurt an innocent human being, let alone a child to that level of pure evil( rape,murder,pedophiles etc..)I ask myself,do these people really even feel anything? the victim is the one I care about. Those people are dead already. Revenge? Well again is not some thing I can speak for everyone. For me I think revenge does not do a Damn thing but I assure you in that moment of suffering if i get my hands on whoever hurt my loved one, I will NOT be dancing to forgiveness and God will take care of them dance. Devil is real
And I believe in God and trust that he has plans. I am only bad to those who are bad! I hate evil people and evil acts! I am just grateful that I am not! Just human. I only care about the victims and what i can do to help them get thru it. I believe in God plans for them in hell and the justice system that try to ease the pain but ultimately nothing change what happens to the victim and religion has nothing to do it! Religion doesn't kill or rape, people do!

Your question has an accusation undertone of evangelists supporting rape. Of course is good to have a witness if you can for not just church but courts as well, however I doubt an evil coward would be inviting spectators to watch them commiting a crime unless they are also involved. also do not forgetthat there are other kind of evil people who ruins others lives saying/accusing them that they are raped them when they didn't. I personally believe a rape victim should always be believed until it gets proven otherwise. As far as for your education I doubt anyone from any church who will ever put a hand up and say ' yes we support rape"!

@Pitchblue So is other millions of Americans from other different religions who voted for him. If we have to generalise and for one second I put sense a side, then Americans must support those kind of behaviors, as they are the ones who voted for them.! Yeah Americans! Why just stop on evangelists? Hmmm.. What is it trump? And every other American who voted for him? Surely they can't all be Evangelists. I have a group of people I absolutely judge and despise as a whole and I hate myself for feeling that way and being that person with hate and yes I pray and ask God forgiveness everyday, but deep down I know is "some", not all.
Evangelists does not support rape! Not one religion does! People do the crimes and devil work then hides behind religion.
