I'm not an atheist and neither a religious person. I found faith in God but I still doubt about Him and still not ready to become a part of that faith.

@Emosaur Believe in something doesn't mean we have to become a part of it.

@Emosaur Why do I need to know this? What are you trying to prove?

@Emosaur Look. I don't care whether I should become a part of something that I believe to prove that it is right for me to believe it. I believe and it is all that matter. My faith is my decision, not religion. I can believe whatever I want as long as my feeling is right.

There is no right or wrong or any rule in having faith in something. It is nonsense to tell someone to believe in something that considers it is legal for them to believe. There is no rule for our belief. Anyone has the right to choose anything they believe without any restriction of right or wrong.

I'm a freethinker; I'm open to anything, and never follow any rule. I'm spiritual but not religious. I can believe in anything without being committed to it. Whatever you say, you can never change my mind.

Unless it stems from a religion, which is pretty much a set of things you have to believe and follow in order to be considered a member of it.

You are no wrong. But that is only applied for those who are willing to become a part of it. You still don't understand what I'm trying to say. My point is, believing is come from our decision, and there is no rule to set up to control what we should and should not believe. There is no rule that telling us to not believe or believe in something. There is no rule to tell us what we believe is right or wrong. That is my point.

I'm not even trying to.

Then what is the point of trying to tell me about all these things? If you're not even trying to change my mind, then why don't you stop convincing by keep giving your opinion to prove that what I believe is wrong? Why don't you just... ignore it?

All I've been trying to tell you is that it's silly to say you believe in the deity of an established religion without being a part of it.

Your opinion is subjective. You believe in something that you consider it is right doesn't mean others' believe is wrong from what you believe. There is no right or wrong between this. Don't try to prove others wrong when you don't even know if your prove is based on fact or not.

Peace out! :)

@SW-User In the case of Jesus, He wants a relationship with us. Not to be a part of religion. Religion and relationship in His eyes, are two different things to God.

@LadyGrace I agree. And as long as we have a connection with Him, there is no need to become a part of the religion.

@SW-UserOK I respect your feelings about that, but Jesus says we must follow Him, put him before anything else to enter heaven, be saved.
SW-User
@Carazaa I believe in the existence of Him but I will not put Him before anything else. I believe in Him which means I follow him through my connection to Him without making myself become a religious person.
@SW-User I am not a religious person. Just a follower of Christ. That means it is a personal relationship. I'm dedicated to Him because I love Him and want to be, not because I have to. It's not a forced thing. No rituals. It was Jesus that said, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you." That doesn't mean He wants slaves. Compared to all He has done for me, what He asks is nothing, to be faithful and let Him guide. It's no pressure at all. It is my honor and pleasure to show Him how much I love Him. .

Matthew 10:37
Anyone who loves his father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me;

John 12:25
Whoever loves his life will lose it, but whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

Revelation 12:11
They have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. And they did not love their lives more than death.

@Carazaa That still can't convince me. Sorry :)
@SW-User I believe it does. Otherwise , how can we say we're a part of Christ, if we don't want any part of Him? He wants a one on one relationship with us.
SW-User
@LadyGrace I didn't say that I'm a part of Him. I only believe in him, but not a part of him. That is why I say in my first comment is that "I found faith in God but I still doubt about Him and still not ready to become a part of that faith."
@SW-User Oh, I see. Thanks for clearing that up.
