Keep in mind Boallods, that if Biblical works were 'read' by Christians, that would also mean those same Biblical works were also 'written' by Christian Scribes at the time of Jesus and beyond.

God did not write the Bible, nor did Jesus. Jesus was not a writer! Jesus had faithful followers who did his writing for him, but Jesus himself was not a writer. Who wrote the Bible and all versions that followed the first, were mere mortals whom were doing their best to interpret the mantra of Jesus as he spoke. In many cases involving the distorted perceptions and weak understandings among those marginally educated Scribes, those same Biblical works you make reference to were in many cases, written some 60+ years after the death of Jesus. Who those Scribes were working for, was the Church.

The dedicated work of those Scribes was then heavily edited BY the Church to now serve the agenda of the current Church as those writings were edited to conform with and thus support the current religious agenda for the day. But what the Church was editing as time went on, were already-edited and then re-edited versions of the original Source, all of which had been passed down through the ages and each claiming to be 'originals' as interpreted from Jesus.

As a result, the original Source now became a very murky Source of information as to what Jesus had actually said as well as intended to be understood. The heavily edited interpretations of the Bible however, were loosely taken from those old, originally-written interpretations of Jesus, all of which were derived from ancient writings and notes originally recorded from once again, mere mortals whom were present when Jesus was also a mere mortal.

Those mere mortals however, were lucky enough to be there at the very time of Jesus while Jesus was also among them walking the earth in human-form. Some 60+ years later, those original works were then re-interpreted by Scribes who worked for the Church and whom were directed by the Church. As time went on, the 'Word of the Church' became the counterfeit 'Word of Jesus'.

What you are saying then about extra-Biblical works being read by Christians historically regarding the likelihood of babies going to heaven, amounts to nothing more than a passing-down of a mere mortal's perception of what might conceivably be taking place when a baby dies and where that baby's Spirit probably goes. From a human's perspective back then being no different than today, those human individuals you speak of did not know anything more about a Spirit's destination than anyone who lives here on earth today.

What you are therefore speaking about, is a human's perception of a Spirit's reality as it was written historically BY humans, then passed on down through over 2000 years of re-interpretation and subsequent re-writing BY humans of the probable destination a human's Spirit Energy would take at the time of a human's death, in particular a baby's.

You are not speaking about 'inside information' being provided TO those Christians BY a Spirit Energy that magically came to them through manifestation of human form within It's Glorious Attempt to set the record straight about where babies go when they die! You are speaking strictly about a human-to-human interaction involving a shared perception within their shared egoic reality.. and that's all those extra-Biblical works amount to.[/c]
