Avoiding Problems, Causes More Pain [Spirituality & Religion]
The life that focuses on avoiding pain, is a life that shall remain stagnant and never grow, nor learn from the experience.
I know. I used to do everything in my power to avoid pain. God showed me just the opposite, that these trying moments are not to be feared, but actually a natural response to alert you that something is not right in your life, is not working for you, and needs to be changed, so your life can be happy again and back in order.
The quickest way to resolve problems, is not to let them linger or sweep them under the rug. The LESS painful way to solve them, no matter how hard, is to face them head on. Pray about them. Ask for God's guidance. Don't get in the way, after you've prayed. You'll only delay His help. He doesn't need your help. ☺️ He's perfectly able to handle things Himself. If you get anxious and try to manipulate the situation, you'll take matters out of His hand, into yours, and mess things up big time! You'll be tempted to, but that just ties His hands to help you, because it takes faith to get results. Prayer is the key, but faith unlocks the door.
Prayer works by allowing God to step in, trusting Him to answer, then LETTING GO of the problem....knowing it's in good hands now. God's hands. And He knows best what to do with it, since He sees our future.
Adversity is God's university...the school where we learn and grow, and thank God for it! We don't want to remain stagnant, but grow and mature in Christ. What life is all about, so we CAN move forward. If we don't learn the lesson, we stay in the same spot.
If we take it upon ourselves to bypass God and move three steps forward, it's pointless, because we're doing it on our own without trusting God, and we're here to learn the lesson, so until we do, we'll be sent right back to square one. So problems are actually our friend, not to be feared, but to adjust and improve our lives.
When we listen, life goes SO much smoother. 😄 We get relief, can move forward once again, and are much happier for trusting in God's perfect guidance. There is no fear in perfect love, and God's love is absolutely perfect, as He ALWAYS has our best interest at heart.
