Where atheism is simply a choice to not believe in a god, anti-theism moves to attack belief systems -- is this case, with veiled insults, ridicule, and patronizing mockery, such as FSM. Take the veil away, and they're just a bully's sad tactics to belittle people.

@LadyGrace I used to be pretty anti-theist when I was younger before I basically got over myself and realized Christians can be good people.
That said I sympathize with the atheists who get there, because growing up being told you're going to hell and you're a wicked person for your beliefs can make someone fairly bitter. I wasn't the bully growing up, but I was absolutely bullied by believers who seemed to forget Jesus' message of compassion and love for everyone.

Amen to that! A jackass has better manners than they do. Ridicule, mockery, and acting worse than a jackass is about all they can do since they can't support their own claims. They actually insult themselves with their limited intelligent methods to belittle others who believe in the truth rather than their lies.

@CountScrofula Amen, brother. Only thing is.....real, TRUE Christians wouldn't do that. SHOULDN'T do that. If they do, they need to repent and get their life straight with God. What a horrible thing to do to someone! Shameful. I feel so sorry for those who have suffered this. It is outrageous. Thank you for sharing the other side of this as well. You are truly right. God knows. A person reaps what they sow.

I ma heartily sorry that you were bullied by so called 'believers' which were really religious people who call themselves believers. I've met them before and what it's like to be bullied. Jesus taught us to love one another as He has loved us. Please, if you will, receive Christ into your heart and get to know Him for who He says He is and not for what religion or man says He is. Will you do that?
