@BigRon imo is correct. Jesus would not have actually been a human if he did not have to go through the same trials as us, which was the whole point of him coming here. He lived just as you and me, but he knew what his purpose was and who he was and that's what set him free from sin before sinners could get to him. And this is what makes it all so much more incredible.

@imo21169 I don't know what you mean, but anyone following jesus in their family is unimportant to us. They're just regular human beings. The only reason Jesus was important is because he was God's first born and came down to save us.

I've heard this. There have been many people who have claimed Jesus had a family. Ridiculous, I say. People would rather try and discredit Jesus than to admit who He really is, and why He came to earth.@imo21169

We are all in the family of God if we believe in Jesus. Therefore, I can rightfully call myself God's son. But the sonship Jesus had with God was different. Are you a Christian, Martin?@MartinTheFirst

@BigRon of course it's different, but that's becaue Jesus is God's firstborn. If you read the early chapters of the Bible then you'll see how much a firstborn is valued above the others in a way.

@imo21169 @BigRon False. God is Jehovah, Jesus father. Jesus said many times in the Bible that he was not to be compared to God. The only instance he said something that could be interpreted as such, is when he said that if you've seen him you've seen God. And he said that because he follow God's path so closely.

Yes, that is right. Jesus, as a human, had a real family that He belonged to. No one can dispute that. But Jesus made it possible that anyone who believes in Him can also belong in the family of God. And that family far surpasses any earthly family unit.@LadyGrace
