Prayer for Jesus was different than prayer for you or me. Jesus was, in essence, God Himself. So that their communication was on a level we cannot even imagine.

@BigRon imo is correct. Jesus would not have actually been a human if he did not have to go through the same trials as us, which was the whole point of him coming here. He lived just as you and me, but he knew what his purpose was and who he was and that's what set him free from sin before sinners could get to him. And this is what makes it all so much more incredible.

I do NOT disagree with you.@MartinTheFirst

@BigRon that's great?
imo21169 · 41-45, F
@MartinTheFirst do you believe their is a family claiming to be one of jesus descendants
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@imo21169 I don't know what you mean, but anyone following jesus in their family is unimportant to us. They're just regular human beings. The only reason Jesus was important is because he was God's first born and came down to save us.

One and only Son.

@BigRon not the only. we're all sons of God
BigRon · 41-45, M
We are all in the family of God if we believe in Jesus. Therefore, I can rightfully call myself God's son. But the sonship Jesus had with God was different. Are you a Christian, Martin?@MartinTheFirst
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@BigRon of course it's different, but that's becaue Jesus is God's firstborn. If you read the early chapters of the Bible then you'll see how much a firstborn is valued above the others in a way.
We're God's children but we're like the kind of sons that broke contact with our parents for many years and then came back to him. That's where we're at right now.

@imo21169 @BigRon False. God is Jehovah, Jesus father. Jesus said many times in the Bible that he was not to be compared to God. The only instance he said something that could be interpreted as such, is when he said that if you've seen him you've seen God. And he said that because he follow God's path so closely.
