The Dark Night of the Soul [Spirituality & Religion]

So I have been going through a very troubling time. All the world is of its own means,I feel like I am no longer of that means. A means to what? At this time I feel like a void of darkness is sucking me in and trapping all the energy into an airtight container.

There is so much I don't understand and that which I thought I did, I am unsure.

God is but a memory, and sometimes I can feel the power, but it doesn't last.

For anyone who is going through a dark night of the Soul or some kind of Spiritual crises what have you done or are doing to make peace with the experience?

There is so much suffering in me, I just want a way out! :(

I apologize for my short answer here, but I am unable to answer the way I would like because I am not well right now. But first I would say that you must not look for a permanent solution that would harm you, for a temporary problem. This too, shall pass. The closer you draw to God, the faster he can help you heal and make you feel better. He is always there for you. Sommore you read God's word and pray to him, the better you will feel. God is not the author of confusion. Satan is, and that is why you are feeling so bad. He loves to make people feel miserable, so you must draw your mind away from negative suggestions from him and turn to God for help and God will help you. The very reason itself, that you feel bad, is because you have drawn away from God. You have strayed from him, not the other way around. That's what happens to us when we start feeling the way you do now. It is not your fault. It happens to all of us. Draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh unto you. And I will leave you with my article I just wrote. I apologize once again that I cannot write more right now. The Bible says that when we keep our heart and mind on Jesus, he gives us perfect peace in our heart and mind. Please read the following article.
