Isaiah 65:
21 They will build houses and dwell in them;
they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22 No longer will they build houses and others live in them,
or plant and others eat.
Is that socialist thinking?

Gold mining is extremely dangerous work for children. Yet still today, tens of thousands are found in the small-scale gold mines of Africa, Asia and South America. Children work both above and under ground. In the tunnels and mineshafts they risk death from explosions, rock falls, and tunnel collapse. They breathe air filled with dust and sometimes toxic gases.
Isaiah 65,22: No longer will they build houses and others live in them,
or plant and others eat.

@helenS I see no connection with the scripture there.

@Pfuzylogic What would you say is the meaning of:
"No longer will they build houses and others live in them,
or plant and others eat?

@helenS That is God speaking to Israel through the Prophet Isaiah.
I don’t see the politics.

@Pfuzylogic Yes, Isaiah is a messenger of God, giving a Divine promise: that there will be a New Heaven, and a New Earth (Isaiah 65,17), where human exploitation will end (Isaiah 65,22).
At least this is how I see it.

Israel had a disobedience problem hence their building and someone else using it.

@Pfuzylogic Very interesting. You see these messages in a completely different way. Thank you, I'll have to think about this.

@helenS That was their original intent but I can easily see their immediate applications to our world now.
