If I make it through [Spirituality & Religion]

If I make it through the rough times Im having at the moment.

I've decided. I will never date another "Christian" woman.

No offense. But the two I've been with in my lifetime were the 2 worst experiences of my days. I'll pass next time.

A well-meaning Christian here. Could you elaborate on your experience? How did the two women you speak of hurt you? I'm interested.

Couple of things:

Firstly, a woman cannot love a man as a man can love a woman. Men are the true romantics; women tend to love men conditionally (except for their sons or grandsons). This claim is not necessarily Biblical, but it's not anti-Biblical either. I think it'll be a lot if easier for you if just accepted that one simple truth.

Secondly, that's not necessarily bad. This motivates men to be better, and that's a good thing.

Thirdly, a Christian woman will never act the way you say those two women acted. "Love thy neighbor as thyself" is probably the first thing that comes to mind.

Fourthly - don't give up. Don't compromise for a non-Christian woman. If you are a Christian, you'd want for your partner to love Jesus. There are lot of good Christian women out there. You've got my support, as also (I believe) God's support.
