Evoltuion's Big Lie [Spirituality & Religion]

There is no where in any of the science fields a hint of evolution. Yet, it's being forced upon the younger generations a factual without a hint of evidence to support it. Why?

The religious have been doing that for centuries. Forcing religion on the younger generation without any evidence to back it up .

@kodiac Are you aware that evolution was thought up by the ancient Greeks?
kodiac · 22-25, M
@hippyjoe1955 Ok ,so both sides have been forcing their beliefs on younger generations. The point is neither can show absolute proof so one is no better than the other.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@kodiac However for evolutionists claim that only their view is scientific is a flat out lie. Their point of view is just as much a religion as any other. If you are going to ban one religion you must ban them all including science.
kodiac · 22-25, M
@hippyjoe1955 No one is suggesting banning anything ,just that it not be forced on anyone.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@kodiac can you see a difference?

@hippyjoe1955
Their point of view is just as much a religion as any other
If only there weren’t all that pesky evidence.

Or are you suggesting that there is no evidence?
kodiac · 22-25, M
@hippyjoe1955 Yes, Evolutionists state their point of view and let people choose. No threats of damnation ,no demands of obedience. No hiding behind a book when they don't have the answers to simple questions.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@kodiac Try telling that to a science teacher. Sorry but evolution is part of public education by law.
kodiac · 22-25, M
@hippyjoe1955 What point are you trying to make? I have no problem with teaching that ,and from what i have seen and read religion was forced on school kids for like the last 100 years.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@hippyjoe1955
only their view is scientific
It isn’t a ‘view’... it's a conclusion drawn from the evidence.

Do you have any other evidence-based conclusions?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2 Showing your lack of understanding of science again I see. You are funny! Kind of sad but very very funny! You wouldn't know science if you tripped over it.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 do you offer anything other than insults?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@basilfawlty89 Do you even read what I have written?
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 I did. Just a bunch of insults as usual. It's like a kindergartener arguingm
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@basilfawlty89 If you don't like it move on. I am not forcing anyone to read what I write.
@hippyjoe1955 So? Actually the first mention of the theory of natural selection was in a poem by the Roman poet Lucretius. The idea that lifeforms are stagnant and unchanging is common to many religions.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@LeopoldBloom actually coming to that many religions also state the opposite. Dharmic religions and Zoroastrianism have evolution.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@LeopoldBloom There was a small school of Greeks who thought it up prior but non the less it was discarded as a theory since there was no actual evidence of it. Still isn't but that is another story.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@LeopoldBloom Lucretius is a fascinating chap
@hippyjoe1955 There's even less evidence for an invisible, omnicient, omnipotent being creating everything just by thinking about it, and who today takes an inordinate interest in what we do with our genitals.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@LeopoldBloom Not if you have eyes to see. You don't so you can't see the evidence. Kind of sad but some people can't see rainbows either. Doesn't mean they don't exist.
redredred · M
@LeopoldBloom The religious people need simple stories because they cannot understand complex matters. They can only grasp ideas about big sky daddies the make everything with magic spells. Its kind of a Harry Potter universe for them.
@redredred I wouldn't characterize all religious people as simpletons; I've met some very intellingent ones, although typically they don't take their "holy books" literally.

In Joe's case, it's very clear that he is attracted to his particular "religion" because it gives him a false sense of authority to elevate himself, while giving him a convenient excuse to insult anyone who doesn't agree with him.
