Is it easy to follow Christ? [Spirituality & Religion]

What must you do to be saved? Can we just believe or what is the fruit, the evidence of a born again Christian? What does Christ mean when he says "believe"! Just accept Him as Lord? or is he also asking to leave everything behind and follow Him?

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

I’ve also been through some experiences that made me question my religion, as I was incredibly sensitive... So, I find it difficult to choose one religion... My father and mother proactively raised me to be open minded, and thoughtful...

@Carazaa Thank you, but I’m not exactly sure if I’m very connected to my culture. I’m a bit of a mixed individual (not surprising, I think). My mother is a Maori, Tahitian, and Irish. My father was Native American, Polish, Scottish, and Irish. That I know of...

@VictoriaR But we can still be proud of our heritage whatever it is!

I came from Sweden on my Grandmas side going back to Vikings and I am proud of that but I still follow Jesus. He answers all my prayers. All of Sweden became Christian after Vikings 1200 AD and then God blessed them with every good thing for a thousand years. The most peaceful and equal country in the world. God will bless you if you follow Him I believe.
