Is it easy to follow Christ? [Spirituality & Religion]

What must you do to be saved? Can we just believe or what is the fruit, the evidence of a born again Christian? What does Christ mean when he says "believe"! Just accept Him as Lord? or is he also asking to leave everything behind and follow Him?

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

You can’t follow an imaginary person so
Carazaa · F
@AnonymousJSS true if you think it is an imaginary thing🤗
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@Carazaa I certainly do think it 🤔
Carazaa · F
@AnonymousJSSthenit would be very hard to follow!🤗
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@Carazaa I used to “follow” when I was little... then I realized I was following nothing.
Carazaa · F
@AnonymousJSSGod is not nothing but Jesus does want us to leave everything and follow him! That is too hard for most. But I respect your belief that it is not real.
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@Carazaa Well there’s no scientific evidence that supports he’s real so...
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@AnonymousJSS That is why it is called a belief and not a fact. If there was scientific evidence proving existence or non-existence, it would not require belief.
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@Zeusdelight Yeah? I was just telling her my reason of why I don’t believe in him.
Carazaa · F
@Zeusdelight Well I am proof. He saved me! I was born again and he changed my life! He answers all my prayers. He does miracles all the time for me. And I have love in my heart for everyone even those who might hate me!
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
No matter what you say and what He does for you, you can't be proof to anyone that God exists. To you He has done all those things, to others who believe, they may also attribute similar things to Him. But believers attributing some things to a God they believe in doesn't prove anything to people who don;t believe.
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@AnonymousJSS You can have a reason why you don't believe in Him, which is fine. However, no matter how strongly you feel about your reason, it will not prove or disprove His existence.
Carazaa · F
[@ZeusdelightI disagree! My whole life is serving Jesus and He is amazing to me. It is hard to follow Jesus but he is well worth it!🤗

Jesus says
"I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me!
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@Carazaa That’s delusional
Carazaa · F
@AnonymousJSS I am delusional to follow Jesus who answers all my prayers? I like him helping me in my life. I care about you and it is not delusional to be born again. The Holy spirit comes into your heart and God hears your prayers and answers them!
xixgun · M
@AnonymousJSS (Jesus was a historical and religious figure, as historians and archaeologists have proven)

Please note, I make no comment on his lineage or his healing abilities
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@Carazaa How do you know he’s answering all your prayers? Sounds like a placebo effect/coincidence to me 🤔
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@xixgun Lol. Evidence doesn’t add up. There’s a slight chance he might’ve been a historical figure, although I highly doubt it.
Carazaa · F
@AnonymousJSS No I have had many miracles that are not possibly coincidents. I wrote many in my posts.
xixgun · M
Then you should try watching something other than MTV and the Kardashians@AnonymousJSS
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@xixgun I don’t watch TV in fact 😂 nor do I like the Kardashians. Nice assumption though, sorry I hurt your little feelings with my opinion (that’s actually very much reasonable and logical).
xixgun · M
@AnonymousJSS No, you failed to hurt my feelings. I was just pointing out that your opinion was wrong. Factually wrong, not just something I disagreed with. And my comment about your viewing habits wasn’t an assumption, it was offering up a possible reason for you to be so stupid. My apologies to the Kardashians.
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@xixgun Its not wrong. There's no evidence that backs up your opinion about Jesus being real (both historically and religiously).

Well that's pretty stupid.... resulting to personal attacks using tv/shows and not replying with logical and confirmed information to back up your claim is pretty stupid.
Btw it was an assumption.
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@AnonymousJSS There is historical evidence of a Jesus Christ in the Roman records. So a person of that name existed.

@AnonymousJSS I am surprised you don’t know of that. If I thought you were interested I’d give you the reference.
